SUMMARY:Chris Cain - LOW TICKET ALERT!
DESCRIPTION:Take some influence from B.B. King\, Albert King\, Ray Charles\, and a pinch of Albert Collins. Add in dazzling blues and jazz guitar chops\, a rich soulful baritone vocal delivering original\, often wry and beleaguered lyrics with sophisticated chord changes and instrumentation\, and skills on various horns and keyboards\, all delivered with an uptown cool that never lacks searing passion. It all adds up to the one and only Chris Cain\, who has gone from being a newcomer phenomenon bursting onto the blues scene in 1987 with a classic debut release\, to being a legend\, inspiration and long-established member of the blues pantheon. \nUpon first discovering Cain in 1987\, Guitar Player raved\, “Cain is an impressive\, top-notch guitarist. His full-bodied tone and surprisingly big voice packed a punch that had me reeling.” The Washington Post declared\, “Chris Cain is a hot-shot guitarist and a singer with the maturity of old blues masters like Bobby Bland and B.B. King.” Guitar icon Robben Ford said\, “Chris Cain is for real. He’s a great blues player with an intensity that keeps you on the edge of your seat\, wondering what he’s going to do next. Plus he knows how to write a song you haven’t heard before\, full of humor and insight. If you like the blues you’ll like Chris Cain. I am a stone fan.” \n“One of the truly great blues guitarists of his generation. Chris Cain is the most important blues player you need to hear. Marvelous and irresistible…He unleashes unadulterated fretboard genius.” – VINTAGE GUITAR MAGAZINE \nChris Cain is one of the most brilliant and vital figures making music of any kind…He’s near legendary on the blues scene…an extraordinarily talented\, consummate musician delivering passionate\, heartfelt vocals\, potent\, superb playing and marvelous songs” – BLUES MUSIC MAGAZINE \n  \nALSO STARING DEUCE AND A QUARTER INTERNATIONAL BLUES CHALLENGE FINALIST \nJust like the automobile\, the band Deuce ‘n a Quarter is built for comfort not speed. But make no mistake\, when they perform their original music paired with classic American blues\, they are bound to get you moving. Through an authentic connection with their audience and listeners\, this band is becoming another American classic. The name alone will take you to a good place. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Peter Mulvey and Jenna Nicholls Present: Floyd Mercantile
DESCRIPTION:In April 2025\, Peter Mulvey and Jenna Nicholls\, along with guitarist Ross Bellenoit\, traveled to Floyd\, a small mountain town located in the Blue Ridge Highlands of Southwest Virginia\, for five uninterrupted days of recording. What emerged is Floyd Mercantile — a record that feels both intimate and timeless. \nThe makeshift studio was a decommissioned general store called (you guessed it!) Floyd Mercantile — a weathered wooden building standing across the road from an open pasture where cows wandered and grazed in the gentle early spring. (One cow even volunteered to be on the album cover.) Inside those old walls\, the trio recorded the album live — no isolation booths\, no heavy overdubbing — just three musicians in a room\, listening closely and letting the songs unfold in real time. \nThe sessions were recorded by Jeff Oehler and filmed in their entirety by partner Sue Bibeau and their associate Skylar Locke. Together\, Sue and Jeff comprise Beehive Pro\, an audio\, visual\, and design collective famed for their intimate recordings and thoughtfully considered visuals. They captured not just the sound\, but the atmosphere — the wood floors\, the daylight through the dusty windows\, and the creak of the porch boards could all be considered session players on this album. \nThe repertoire bridges eras. Mostly comprised of songs Peter and Jenna wrote separately\, there are a few gems from the Great American Songbook: “Skylark” (Hoagy Carmichael/Johnny Mercer)\, “Them There Eyes” (Maceo Pinkard/Doris Tauber/William Tracey)\, and “I’ll Be Seeing You” (Sammy Fain/Irving Kahal). \nThe visual and sonic tones of the project reflect the periods these songs evoke — even the newly composed tracks feel in conversation with another time. The goal was not nostalgia\, but continuity: to stand inside the lineage of American song and add something honest and present to it. \nFloyd Mercantile is not just an album. It’s a document of place. Of three musicians in a room. Of songs — old and new — allowed to breathe in the quiet of a Virginia afternoon. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Kieran Kane and Rayna Gellert - LOW TICKET ALERT!
DESCRIPTION:Kieran Kane and Rayna Gellert are touring behind their latest album—simply titled Volume 4—which captures their less-is-more philosophy\, but with some fresh twists. \nVolume 4 digs into the duo’s musical past while adding fresh elements of collaboration. Lucas Kane (of Kane Welch Kaplin and Go Jane Go) contributes understated percussion to several tracks\, and among the songs is a recent co-write with celebrated songwriter David Francey. Highlighting Rayna’s history as a premier old-time fiddle player with the inclusion of a couple traditional instrumentals\, Volume 4 also documents versions of older songs of Kieran’s that have become crowd favorites from the duo’s shows—as well as some recently uncovered gems from a batch of “lost” demos. This new collection presents an intimate snapshot of Kieran and Rayna’s minimalist musical journey.  \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Hoodoo Soul Band
DESCRIPTION:The Hoodoo Soul Band began as a side project for several seasoned veterans of the Columbus music scene who wanted an outlet to play Funk and Rhythm and Blues with a horn section. Primarily a cover band\, Hoodoo is known for curating a unique set list while giving each song their own original treatment. The players effectively turn soul songs into standards which they deconstruct on the fly\, improvising new arrangements in front of the crowd\, and introducing audiences to funky\, unfamiliar gems that quickly become crowd favorites. Most of the group is still made up of the original members but new blood has been introduced over the years. At any given show the line-up may change with only the very best players in the city subbing in. The focus is music and the standards are high. Hoodoo Soul has also been direct support for world-class acts passing through Columbus such as Parliament and Ray Charles among many others. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show. If you would like to eat before the show we encourage you to make a dinner reservation on Resy for our kitchen side of the venue.
