A professional musician since the age of fifteen\, Micah has played over 1\,000 across the USA & Internationally. In 2020\, Micah was a finalist at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis\, TN\, placing in the Top 8 out of nearly 300 acts worldwide. Micah has opened up for Robert Cray\, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band\, Corey Harris\, and many others\, and his music has been featured on SiriusXM Radio\, in Guitar Player Magazine\, on the TV show “Songs at the Center” and in the book Blues on Beale Street. DESCRIPTION:Steve Forbert is a true American treasure\, a fact underscored by his 21st album\, Daylight Savings Time. Like all his albums of original songs\, it’s suffused with what venerated rock journalist Robert Christgau discerned as his “omnivorously observant” songwriting\, marked by Steve’s gift for finding the deeper meaning and magic within the spectrum of everyday moments\, as well as his abundant melodic and poetic enchantment. \nAs Forbert approaches the milestone of his 70th birthday\, Daylight Savings Time contemplates and celebrates the proverbial ‘extra hour of daylight’ that comes with the time change. “Yeah to chirping crickets and to daylight savings time!” he sings on the album’s first single “Sound Existence\,” “The best ain’t yet to come\, but you could still get by just fine.” \nSteve arrived in New York City from his Meridian\, Mississippi hometown in 1976. He slotted seamlessly into the “new folk” revival in such Manhattan clubs as Folk City\, The Bitter End\, and Kenny’s Castaways while taking the stage at CBGB\, ground zero of the burgeoning new wave/punk movement. He also busked on the streets of Greenwich Village and in the elegant confines of Grand Central Station. \nHe quickly won a major label deal with Nemperor/CBS Records and released his heralded debut\, Alive on Arrival\, in 1978. They were all neighbors\, each one living alone on one floor of a five-story flat. Cake baking is a shared passion of the five member group\, but in the sugar shortages early in the 2020 pandemic\, they found themselves so continually knocking on each other’s doors asking for a single cup of sugar that a group decision was made to all move in together and share cake-baking resources. And since everyone knows all good rhythms begin in the kitchen\, it wasn’t before long that the group began to write and perform together across the nation. The band’s years of musical experience are accentuated by their use of two keyboard players\, bringing a unique depth to their sound. Keim’s powerful live performances have led him to play SXSW and share the stage with renowned artists such as Peter Case (The Nerves/Plimsouls)\, indie icon Calvin Johnson (Beat Happening/founder of K Records)\, and acclaimed singer-songwriter Matt Costa. Grohl was inspired to create the documentary after he purchased several items from the studio\, including the Neve 8028 analog mixing console when it stopped operating as a commercial studio in 2011. The film discusses the historic importance of Sound City Studios and the Neve console to the world of rock music\, along with other recording genres. \nOhio Goes to the Movies™ (OGTTM) is an unprecedented statewide celebration of movies showcasing Ohioans in front of\, and behind the camera (actors\, directors\, writers\, composers) as well as Ohio locations and topics. A Signature Event of America 250-Ohio\, OGTTM started mid-February 2026 and runs through October 2026\, about 250 days of Ohio movie magic showcasing Ohio’s contributions to America’s film industry and moviemaking. \nHappy Chichester is a singer-songwriter\, multi-instrumentalist and producer who has performed sold out shows across the US and Europe to a cultish and dedicated fan-base. Born from the blood of a Blues man\, he’s been bathed in the Blues since birth. He picked up the guitar at the age of 10. At the age of 25\, his triumph to tragedy story began. After being seriously injured in a construction accident\, he was left paralyzed. \nBecause of the limited use of his hands due to paralysis\, playing guitar was now a thing of the past. After a lengthy rehabilitation to get the most out of his body and mind\, he was in search of another instrument to channel his creative outlet. The harmonica became that instrument. Although he didn’t start playing harmonica until his early 30’s\, he has now achieved a skill level enviable of most lifelong blues harp players.  \nAdding to his skill set\, and arguably more notable than his harp playing\, is his incredibly soulful voice. SUMMARY:Tom Holland and the Shuffle Kings w/ Shaun Booker
DESCRIPTION:Tom Holland grew up on Chicago’s south side and was influenced by the city’s rich jazz and blues heritage from a very young age. He began playing guitar at age 13.\, learning by listening to Muddy Waters tapes\, LPs and CDs. Tom  cites Muddy Waters. Earl Hooker\, John Primer and Magic Slim as his greatest influences.  He started playing professionally in Chicago at age 19.\, landing his first gig with L.V. Banks\, in a beauty salon on Chicago’s south side. He worked with L.V. Banks off and on for four years. It was also during this time that Tom was introduced to Muddy Waters last guitarist\, John Primer. \nTom toured the United States and Canada with John Primer for two years as a member of The Real Deal Blues Band. \nIn 1999 Tom was asked to join Chicago blues guitarist Eddy “The Chief” Clearwater’s band.He toured with Eddy Clearwater for three years as his band leader\, taking his first trip to Europe. \nIn November of 2003 was approached by the harp Legend James Cotton who needed a guitar player. He accepted and toured with him for 12 years.Tom played on both of James Cotton’s Grammy Nominated releases\, Giant and Cotton Mouth Man. \nIn 2003 Tom took his band- The Shuffle Kings back into the recording studio\, recording No Fluff\, Just the Stuff\, which garnered rave reviews. \nTom was inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame in 2013. He is without a doubt the classic Chicago Blues guitarist. \nShaun Booker\, singer/songwriter and international recording artist\, resides in Columbus\, Ohio. Shaun’s original songs are influenced by her spiritual and blues roots. Inducted into The Columbus Blues Hall of Fame\, She is sure to draw you into the blues!  Her band won  the 2023 Columbus Blues Challenge. The Shaun Booker Dammit Band was a top 5 finalist at the 2024 International Blues Challenge.
