SUMMARY:Chris Cain
DESCRIPTION:Take some influence from B.B. King\, Albert King\, Ray Charles\, and a pinch of Albert Collins. Add in dazzling blues and jazz guitar chops\, a rich soulful baritone vocal delivering original\, often wry and beleaguered lyrics with sophisticated chord changes and instrumentation\, and skills on various horns and keyboards\, all delivered with an uptown cool that never lacks searing passion. It all adds up to the one and only Chris Cain\, who has gone from being a newcomer phenomenon bursting onto the blues scene in 1987 with a classic debut release\, to being a legend\, inspiration and long-established member of the blues pantheon. \nUpon first discovering Cain in 1987\, Guitar Player raved\, “Cain is an impressive\, top-notch guitarist. His full-bodied tone and surprisingly big voice packed a punch that had me reeling.” The Washington Post declared\, “Chris Cain is a hot-shot guitarist and a singer with the maturity of old blues masters like Bobby Bland and B.B. King.” Guitar icon Robben Ford said\, “Chris Cain is for real. He’s a great blues player with an intensity that keeps you on the edge of your seat\, wondering what he’s going to do next. Plus he knows how to write a song you haven’t heard before\, full of humor and insight. If you like the blues you’ll like Chris Cain. I am a stone fan.” \n“One of the truly great blues guitarists of his generation. Chris Cain is the most important blues player you need to hear. Marvelous and irresistible…He unleashes unadulterated fretboard genius.” – VINTAGE GUITAR MAGAZINE \nChris Cain is one of the most brilliant and vital figures making music of any kind…He’s near legendary on the blues scene…an extraordinarily talented\, consummate musician delivering passionate\, heartfelt vocals\, potent\, superb playing and marvelous songs” – BLUES MUSIC MAGAZINE \n  \nALSO STARING DEUCE AND A QUARTER INTERNATIONAL BLUES CHALLENGE FINALIST \nJust like the automobile\, the band Deuce ‘n a Quarter is built for comfort not speed. But make no mistake\, when they perform their original music paired with classic American blues\, they are bound to get you moving. Through an authentic connection with their audience and listeners\, this band is becoming another American classic. The name alone will take you to a good place. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:An Evening with Kelly Willis and Radney Foster - SOLD OUT!
DESCRIPTION:“Kelly Willis is a gifted songwriter and has one of the best voices in American music. I love performing with her\, and can’t wait to be on stage with her again.”\n– Radney Foster \n“Radney Foster is the kind of songwriter that makes you realize some people are wired differently. That they can find the poetry in the everyday experiences and set them to a melody that you can’t get out of your head. The whole room sings along or cries along. And I’m swept up right there with them. Not to mention\, he sings his ass off. And I love singing with him.”\n– Kelly Willis \nRADNEY FOSTER \nRadney Foster first gained attention as half of the duo Foster & Lloyd\, who with “Crazy Over You” became the first duo in history to top the Country charts with their debut single. He then established himself as a solo artist in the early 90’s with his critically acclaimed release Del Rio\, Texas 1959. \nKnown as a songwriter’s songwriter\, his songs have been recorded by everyone from Keith Urban and the Chicks to Hootie & the Blowfish and George Benson. His own hits like “Just Call Me Lonesome\,” “Nobody Wins\,” and “Texas In 1880” continue to be played on radio and by bands around the world. \nHis most recent project For You To See The Stars is in two parts\, a book of short fiction\, and a collection of songs to go with it. He is currently working on another book of fiction\, as well as developing film and TV projects. \nKELLY WILLIS \nSinger-songwriter Kelly Willis captured critical acclaim from her first release\, with a distinctive voice that conveys both tender heartache and smoldering heat. Born in Oklahoma\, she moved often as a kid with her Army Colonel dad. She started singing professionally at 16\, fronting the rockabilly band “Kelly and the Fireballs” in the DC area\, but it soon became clear she was more of a country singer. After high school\, she moved to Austin and It wasn’t long before she got on the radar of MCA’s Tony Brown\, who signed her after an introduction by Nanci Griffith. \nKelly’s recording career began at a time when Nashville was experiencing a creative resurgence with the likes of Lyle Lovett\, Steve Earle\, Foster & Lloyd and The O’Kanes. She recorded three albums for MCA that were critical hits\, but it wasn’t until she left the major label restrictions behind that she came into her own with 1999’s What I Deserve for Rykodisc. \nThe albums Willis has made since What I Deserve have only burnished her reputation as Austin’s reigning queen of Americana\, including being inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame. When not performing her own music\, Kelly tours with Brennan Leigh and Melissa Carper as Wonder Women of Country\, in support of their 2023 self-titled EP. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Eric Hutchinson - Summer Tour 2026 - LOW TICKET ALERT!
DESCRIPTION:Eric Hutchinson’s new album\, Repeating Myself is a joyous return to the piano pop and singer-songwriter soul that first hooked fans of his debut album\, Sounds Like This. Full of feel-good\, upbeat tracks\, Repeating Myself\, might make you think of Billy Joel or Stevie Wonder\, but honestly – it sounds like vintage Eric Hutchinson. He even jokes\, “The number one influence for these new songs was… myself.” \nThis whole “return to form” idea thing began when Eric was on tour celebrating the 15th anniversary of Sounds Like This (the one with hits like “Rock & Roll” and “Ok\, It’s Alright With Me”). Playing those early songs was a wake-up call. “I’m different from when I wrote those songs\, and it felt like someone else had made them\,” Eric recalls. “I loved how immediate and raw they were. I decided to try writing songs like that person again.” \nThe result? A collection of catchy\, danceable\, energetic instant-classics that are totally Hutchinsonian. “King of Philadelphia” is a bouncing\, soulful funk tune where Eric uses his dry wit to roast the ridiculous cost of city living. Fans can also groove to “Anything You Need\,” a neo-Motown duet with Tess Henley about total devotion\, dance to the rhythmic\, Latin-inspired “Tell The Truth”\, and let their toe tap to “Naturally”\, Eric’s ode to patience and creativity. \nTo celebrate his first new album in four years\, Eric’s hitting the road in 2026 for the Repeating Myself Tour. The setlist will be a perfect mix: the new songs\, pop anthems like “Tell The World\,” “A Little More\,” and “Dear Me”\, and the Sounds Like This tracks that started it all. You can count on every night being packed with soulful music\, dynamic vocals\, and Eric’s trademark dry humor and storytelling. Basically\, don’t miss it. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Dan Bern
DESCRIPTION:Dan Bern is a captivating live performer who has enthralled a loyal and ever-growing fan base in the US and Europe since the mid ‘90s. His songs range from deeply moving to wildly imaginative and hilarious\, often within the same song. He has been compared favorably to the great masters of songwriting\, such as Guthrie\, Dylan\, Costello. Though he draws from the great American tradition of songwriting\, there is something deeply unique and compelling that make you want to get to know the man behind the songs. \nHe conjures incredibly specific imagery like in a painting. Though he may turn to cynicism and political satire at times\, the beauty of his work is that he is able to imagine better worlds\, revealing a deep capacity for empathy and optimism. Bern connects with his audiences skillfully and directly\, weaving the topical and local in with the more universal themes. He has written for many films and TV shows\, and has made more than thirty albums. \n“If you ever read the name “Dan Bern” give yourself a treat and go see him. He’s been one of my favourite songwriters and musicians for the past 25 years. His songs are a mix of thought provoking lyrics and a wonderful dry wit. You’ll have a great night out!  —Roger Daltrey \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:The Whiles
DESCRIPTION:The Whiles are the best Columbus band you didn’t know you already know. Formed in the late 90s\, The Whiles have shared the stage with The National and My Morning Jacket\, had a song in an Academy Award Nominated documentary (Murderball) and all of its members have been at the center of the world renowned (and sir Paul McCartney approved) Sgt Peppercorn’s Marathon\, the only show of its kind in which all 220 songs of the Beatles are performed in a single 14 hour performance. \nIn 2024\, The Whiles booked time with legendary producer Steve Albini (Nirvana\, Pixies\, Breeders) to record a new album. While Alibini tragically passed away three months before the scheduled recording dates\, The Whiles pivoted and finished two records on their own: Hummingbird\, a 10 song polyrhythmic meditation on being a middle aged parent in a post-Covid world\, and Colors of the Year\, a rerecording and 3D reimagining of the band’s 2004 masterpiece. Both albums showcase the bands ability to incorporate Beach Boys harmonies\, George Harrison-esque guitar composition\, The Shins and The National 2000s indie aesthetic and Leonard Cohen inspired lyrical precision. The Whiles bring an earnest musical kaleidoscope of both records\, to a fragmented world that craves beauty and truth\, whether it knows it or not. \nThe band will release both albums June 19 at Natalie’s with early 2000s peers\, Miranda Sound\, and the live debut of Midori Mori\, the new project of bassist Chris Bolognese. The Whiles are excited to be an active band again\, looking back and celebrate the rerecording of a lost gem (Colors of the Year)\, while simultaneously looking forward with a batch of new songs (Hummingbird). \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Ellis Paul
DESCRIPTION:Ellis Paul doesn’t just write songs; he’s a guitar-carrying reporter who covers the human condition  and details the hopes\, loves\, losses of those he observes\, turning their stories into luminous pieces of  music that get under your skin and into your bloodstream. And much like the artists who have influenced  him\, everyone from Joni Mitchell\, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon to the singer-songwriter who is undoubtedly  his greatest inspiration\, Woody Guthrie\, Paul weaves deeply personal experiences with social issues and  renders them as provocative works that are as timely as they are timeless. Born and raised in Maine\, Paul  attended Boston College on a track scholarship and in the evenings became a fixture on the city’s open  mic circuit. After winning a Boston Acoustic Underground songwriter competition\, he caught the ear of  folk luminary Bill Morrissey\, who produced his indie album Say Something in 1993. This led to a seven album contract with Rounder Records and the 1994 album\, Stories.  \nHis songs have appeared in several blockbuster films (Me\, Myself\, and Irene; Shallow Hal\, Hall Pass) and  have been covered by award winning country artists (Sugarland\, Kristian Bush\, Jack Ingram). Through a  steady succession of albums of his own – a remarkable 23 releases so far – and a constant touring  presence around the world\, Paul’s audience has grown into a loyal legion of fans. Along the way\, he has  picked up an impressive number of awards including the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Award\, 15 Boston  Music Awards\, An Honorary Doctorate from the University of Maine\, the 2019 International Acoustic  Music Awards Artist of the Year and most recently his album\, The Storyteller’s Suitcase\, was named the  2019 NERFA Album of the Year.  \nHis new album “55” touches on the necessity of gratitude in a difficult era of the pandemic and divided  political stances on his own imprint\, Rosella Records.  \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.
