SUMMARY:Patrick Sweany
DESCRIPTION:Celebrity Etc presents Patrick Sweany accompanied with a full band. \nThe title of Patrick Sweany’s new record is apt for more reasons than might be readily apparent. For fans\, it’s a nod to the massive amount of time between full-length albums (7 years if you are counting). For Sweany\, it’s a theme that’s permeated his latest songs (running out of time\, getting older). \nThe time in between 2018’s Ancient Noise and Baby\, It’s Late has been full of changes for Sweany. Difficult changes. These mile-markers and their aftermath made it challenging for Sweany to do what he’s done for over 20 years: write songs\, record songs\, get in a van and play those songs for you. \nIt wasn’t as though Sweany’s music-making simply stopped\, however. As the world opened back up after the pandemic\, Sweany resumed his Blue Monday residency at The 5 Spot in E. Nashville playing 50’s and 60’s era Blues songs with The Tiger Beats: McKinley James\, Jason Smay\, and Ted Pecchio. He also started a new Soul\, Funk project called SUPER FELON with JD Simo\, Adam Abrashoff\, Pecchio and Robbie Crowell. Most importantly\, he started writing and recording again. \nFor the first time\, Sweany chose to do almost everything himself\, recording tracks on his Tascam 388 tape machine in his Bongo Room home studio. While the end results were not quite good enough for public consumption\, the kernels of some great new songs were started\, and a less polished\, more organic approach was established. \nSweany decided to call on the collaborators in The Tiger Beats and SUPER FELON to help him progress. Using JD Simo’s House Of Grease studio and McKinley James’ Red Lodge studio\, Sweany brought in players from both of these projects. \n“These guys are some of the most in-demand players in Nashville\,” says Sweany about the sessions. “They know when it’s right and when it’s not. If they felt like these songs weren’t good enough\, they’d tell me.” \n“We tracked two days live\, no headphones\, band in the room\, old school style. It felt good. It felt right. The songs sounded like songs. Back in the saddle.” \nOn top of the old-school style of recording\, Sweany chose to produce the recordings himself – something he’d never done. \nThe results are a raw\, more direct collection of songs that tap directly into the pain\, tension\, and catharsis of the past seven years. Stylistically they capture elements of Sweany’s previous recordings: the raw Blues-Rock opener “My Time Ain’t Long” could be an outtake from 2008’s Every Hour Is A Dollar Gone\, while the subtle ballads “Christmas Parade” and “See Through” are reminiscent of 2015’s ruminative Daytime Turned To Nighttime. Elsewhere\, however\, Sweany embraces some new influences such as the hooky rock anthem “Golden Fields” and the 70s organ funk groove of “Trouble With Love.” \nAfter over 25 years writing\, recording and touring\, Sweany knows more than most that you can’t rush the process. You have to wait until the songs are ready. In that regard\, Baby\, It’s Never Too Late. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:The Deltaz
DESCRIPTION:The Deltaz are a brother duo blending Americana\, blues rock\, and sibling harmonies into a sound rooted in the heart of American music. Raised outside Los Angeles\, Ted and John Siegel cut their teeth on Southern California’s live scene\, mentored early on by bassist Rick Rosas (Neil Young\, Joe Walsh). They later shared stages with artists like The White Buffalo\, gaining a reputation for gritty\, soul-driven performances. \nIn 2018\, the Woolsey Forest Fire destroyed their home and studio. Rather than slow down\, the brothers relocated to Nashville\, rebuilding their lives and sound. That new chapter comes to life in Give It All to You\, a 12-song album released in September 2025\, produced by Grammy-winner Mark Neill (The Black Keys\, Charley Crockett). Recorded live it captures the band’s tight chemistry\, emotional depth\, and fearless musicianship. Now fixtures in Tennessee’s roots scene\, The Deltaz have played residencies at Dee’s Lounge and The Underdog\, performed at Fox & Locke\, and appeared at Pilgrimage Festival. They’ve also built strong ties in the Mississippi blues world\, collaborating with Watermelon Slim\, playing the Juke Joint Festival\, and even performing at Mississippi State Penitentiary. For The Deltaz\, music is more than craft\, it’s resilience\, connection\, and devotion. Give It All to You is not just an album\, it’s a love letter to roots music and a new beginning for two brothers who never stopped listening to each other. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Cole Chaney w/ Dale Blankenship - LOW TICKET ALERT!
DESCRIPTION:When it comes to his latest album\, In the Shadow of the Mountain\, 25-year-old singer-songwriter Cole Chaney is pretty candid and blunt about who he is and what kind of music he wants to make — the result of which\, this stunning offering from an artist wise beyond his age. \n“There’s a yin to every yang\,” Chaney says. “I want nothing more than for people to be creatively fulfilled\, and to do what they want. But\, for me to preach that? I have to practice it.” \nThat attitude resides at the core of the record\, where the trajectory of the songs seemingly —more so purposely — shoot off in the opposite direction of many of his contemporaries in the Americana\, country and folk music scenes. In truth? Chaney is summoning his rock roots. \n“I’m not concerned with being labeled as ‘country’.“There’s not a lot of music being released right now that is doing anything for me. I made something that I would want to listen to.” Pointing to his lifelong admiration for 1990s rock — specifically Soundgarden\, Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots — as a vital influence on the sonic landscape of the album\, Chaney aimed to find a melodic balance between that raw and real rock sound and the bluegrass and folk music of his native Kentucky. \n“I wanted to make something that sounded like Ralph Stanley went in and got backed up by Soundgarden\,” Chaney jokes. “I write what I listen to. And whatever I listen to is going to come out in my music.” \nIn the Shadow of the Mountain was captured by famed producer Duane Lundy at his legendary studio in Lexington\, Kentucky. While talking at-length about the possible collaboration\, Lundy spoke of his love for Soundgarden\, Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots. \n“I know plenty of bluegrass guys that could have recorded this for me\,” Chaney says. “But\, I wanted to take that string band and folk sound and bring it to a rock producer\, to bring that big sound out of these acoustic instruments — [Duane] was about to do that.” \nThe album was also co-produced by guitarist Zachary Hamilton\, a close friend of Chaney\, who isalso the brother and bandmate of rising Lexington singer-songwriter Abby Hamilton. \n“[Zach] has that ability to fill a room with his guitar\, his voicings\, and all the choices he goes for down the neck of the guitar\,” Chaney says. “When Abby was opening for us\, I got to sit there and watch him play every night. I knew when I was going to do another album\, he needed to be involved in some capacity.” \nHeading into the recording sessions\, Chaney brought along his band\, which included Ella Webster (fiddle)\, Kyle Kleinman (mandolin)\, Joel Murtaugh (upright bass) and James Gooding (drums). Acclaimed Kentucky musician (and former bandmate) Aaron Bibelhauser also makes an appearance. \nWith this pivot in his tone and intent compared to his 2021 debut album\, Mercy\, Chaney sees this current path as more in-tune with what he’s not only wanted to do all along\, but has slowly shifted towards in recent years amid endless touring and performing. \n“I was green [while recording Mercy]. I didn’t really know what I was doing\,” Chaney admits. “And\, by the grace of so many people around me\, we were able to get some really great string band music on [that album].” \nSince Mercy\, Chaney has added a full drum kit to his band and live show\, something that was done to enhance his sound and stage presence — this thunderous beat to accompany the sorrowful songs. \n“If I have drums\, then we’re going to do it all the way\,” Chaney says. “And that unlocked some capabilities for me as a writer to pursue a sound that I don’t think I’ve heard yet.” \nAs of late\, Chaney has returned to his hometown of Catlettsburg\, Kentucky (population: 1\,780). The tiny Appalachian community lies along the shores of the Ohio and Big Sandy rivers\, at the crossroads of the borders of West Virginia\, Ohio and The Bluegrass State. \n“I think where I’m from shows through in everything that I do\,” Chaney says. “And if you want to write songs where that is going to come through\, then I feel I need to be around my roots.” \nFor Chaney\, even though he’s only in his mid-twenties\, his journey has been long and bountiful already. From growing up in rural Appalachia to going to welding school\, only to leave it behind and take a leap of faith when an opportunity to pursue music emerged. \nThat life-changing decision led to Chaney hitting the road and finding work at The Burl\, a storied Lexington music venue. Chaney has come full circle with The Burl\, by selling out the space on multiple occasions to fervent crowds\, including the large outdoor stage. \nWith In the Shadow of the Mountain being the latest milestone for Chaney\, what remains is this driven musician in search of not only himself and his sound\, but also an audience just as hungry — for something new\, something different\, and yet something so familiar. \n“In a lot of ways\, things have gone extremely far. And yet\, so many things have remained the same\,” Chaney reflects. “And that’s been the beauty of the journey.” \nDale Blankenship opens: \n \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show. \n

SUMMARY:William Matheny
DESCRIPTION:Material Witness is William Matheny’s third full-length album since 2017\, but if it feels more like the confident work of an artist who’s been making music for much longer\, there’s good reason for that. The Morgantown\, West Virginia\, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter paid his dues early\, playing in bands with friends and family for two decades\, until he was prepared to make his own mark. \n“I felt like I had found my voice for real\,” Matheny says of the moment around a decade ago when he realized his songwriting was ready. “Up to that point\, it was something I did\, but I think it just took me a while to figure out exactly what I had to say.” \nFrom 2017’s Strange Constellations to 2023’s That Grand\, Old Feeling\, plus a scattering of EPs and singles\, Matheny has earned his place as one of the Mountain State’s most vivid and dynamic musical voices. Material Witness\, recorded in Nashville with Grammy-winning producer-engineer Justin Francis\, raises the stakes with ten original songs that often find Matheny “contemplating mortality and the passage of time\,” he says. \nMusically\, it’s a step forward for Matheny\, although not a big departure from his previous work. “It’s sort of like the next room down the hallway\,” he says. “When I listen back to it\, I definitely see a logical progression.” It’s also the most musically diverse album he’s made to date. “It’s got maybe the most raucous moments with maybe the most delicate moments too\,” he says. “I think the emotional range of it is a bit wider than my previous albums. It feels a little less hemmed-in by the idea of fitting into anything.” \nIndeed. Material Witness kicks off with the anthemic guitar rocker “Babylon Man” and its memorable chorus chant which inverts Hedy West’s folk revival staple “500 Miles”\, “Lord I’m one/ Lord I’m two/ Lord I’m nothing without you.” Matheny shifts gears for track two\, “Where Do The People In My Dreams Go\,” a meditative\, almost midtempo melodic gem with a gentle keyboard riff setting the tone and a string quartet sweetening the arrangement. (Matheny says the music of enigmatic 20th-century songwriter Connie Converse influenced this one.) Track three\, “Everyone Leaves Everyone\,” has more of an indie-roots feel\, with trace elements of Guided By Voices in its opening guitar figure. And track five\, “Fairmont Hair” — packed with insider references to his hometown of Mannington\, W.V. — is down-and-dirty blues-rock that echoes mid-’60s Dylan or perhaps the Beatles’ “Come Together.” \nTying everything together is Matheny’s voice\, a conversational tenor that conveys both hard-won wisdom and heartfelt emotionalism with equal weight and resonance. Traveling out of state to record was a first for Matheny and his band\, and he says it helped push them to another level. Strange Constellations and That Grand\, Old Feeling “were more homespun affairs\,” he explains. “This was a big step up for us. It was our first experience with both isolation rooms and a recording facility that has a mini-fridge.” \nIt’s a long way from Matheny’s earliest recordings\, which he released under the name Billy Matheny in the early 2000s after teen years spent playing guitar in a cover band with his father and drums in Brian Porterfield’s band Cheap Truckers’ Speed. In 2008\, Matheny joined the established Ohio indie group Southeast Engine as a multi-instrumentalist\, contributing to a couple of the band’s releases on renowned indie label Misra Records. \nWhen Southeast Engine disbanded around 2013\, Matheny started writing songs again for the first time in many years\, with a goal of releasing them under his own name. Those songs became’s Strange Constellations.\, which also came out on Misra. He jumped to Kentucky sensation Tyler Childers’ label Hickman Holler for That Grand\, Old Feeling. Matheny has launched his own label\, Diamond Teeth\, to release Material Witness on July 10\, with help from distributor Thirty Tigers’ Americana-leaning affiliate Soundly. \nWhen Matheny tours behind the new record\, he’ll work his own shows into a busy schedule that also includes stints playing bass with fellow West Virginia singer-songwriter John R. Miller and keyboards with Washington\, D.C.\, indie act the Paranoid Style. Though he’s increasingly focused on creating his own music these days\, Matheny says he’s grateful for the chance to continue supporting other artists with his instrumental versatility. \n“There are things you can’t learn by being in charge all the time\,” says Matheny\, echoing the chorus of the new album’s opener “Babylon Man.” He continues: “I love playing those songs\, and all the people in those bands are such a joy to work with. It was never really a thing for me where it had to be my vision. I’m really just as happy doing one thing or the other\, if it’s people I love and it’s material I love.” \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Kyle Gass of Tenacious D
DESCRIPTION:Kyle Gass \nThe man needs no introduction or explanation. One half of the mighty Tenacious D\, Kyle Gass has literally made history\, co-invented a genre\, and created a substantial body of work over the years. He’s played 100’s upon 100’s of shows across the globe\, and has often been imitated by countless weekend warrior guitarists\, tribute-band wannabees\, and dorm-room drunks. The thing that they’re all missing is KG’s immense talent and perfect timing.. well\, also no one can play the flute or recorder quite like him either. \nMt. Air \nYou’ve seen these musicians on stages for years- as they play pivotal roles in The Receiver\, Minnows\, Night Laundry and the notable Peppercorn Beatles Marathon. \nThey recently hit the road and perform as the backing band for Tenacious D’s fronting member\, Kyle Gass. They are bringing that show back home to Columbus! \nFronted by singer-songwriter Sean Gardner\, the influence of Americana song craft is apparent via both guitar playing and lyrical comparisons to Jason Molina\, Elliot Smith\, and Jeff Tweedy. \nLyrically\, the songs traverse both heartbreak and self-discovery. While musically\, the band builds their strength around Nate Rothacker and Casey Cooper\, whose friendship dates back to grade school. This tight bonded rhythm section adds a sonic texture reminiscent of classic and modern psychedelia like Pink Floyd and Blonde Redhead. \n \n

SUMMARY:An Evening with Alejandro Escovedo
DESCRIPTION:Alejandro Escovedo’s New Album ECHO DANCING is an Adventure in Life \nNo one has really ever been able to define themselves and their music like singer-songwriter Alejandro Escovedo does. His life in music of all kinds sometimes feels like a swirl through the sky\, where his songs point out all the majesty and mystery of how he sees the world. The sounds he makes take him places that he might not even predict\, but once there\, greatness always follows. It’s just the way Escovedo is. It has happened over and over for decades\, almost like a fateful agreement he has with the cosmos. There is a good chance it cannot be explained\, especially by him. \nMaybe that’s because this is a musician who feels magic\, both in himself and the world around him\, and is open to the experience of whatever comes his way. It is not always easy\, and can have a high demand on how a person lives. But it is the way that Escovedo is always moving forward. \nOn this new album\, Alejandro Escovedo has taken a road rarely traveled\, which is totally in keeping with how he has lived his life in music. Echo Dancing is an experiment in how to use the past to shape the future. By recording completely new and repurposed versions of songs from his past\, Escovedo actually gets a chance to rewrite his own history. It’s also an idea that pushes growth into the present\, and asks an artist to see themselves anew. “I always feel that a well-written song can withstand a lot of abuse\,” Escovedo says. It is an area of creativity that the man has always honored. “Turning a past song inside out leads to discovery of new ideas you might not have understood about the song\,” he says. “Even lyrical refurbishing has proven helpful and effective. It’s like interpreting your own work anew. The songs never seem to be complete. They are always evolving.” \nAnd with those words\, Alejandro Escovedo succinctly explains the new levels of artistic exploration he’s undertaken on his new album. It’s a unique adventure into recording new versions of songs from his past\, and approaching them as challenges to totally express what the music means to him today. Songs like “Bury Me” and “Castañuelas\,” while they were powerful in their original form several years ago\, now announce themselves as highlights of Escovedo’s long career. They speak to an eternal world that lives inside so much of his music\, like it was formed in a way that cannot age. There is something very permanent in the career of the Texas-born artist\, an inner flame that is always there. It feels like it is a part of musical history that is rarely captured at such peak performance\, let alone reappears with a new life. If the life of an artist is always to push ahead\, to leave what was done alone in favor of contemporary creations\, then Escovedo’s basic concept of Echo Dancing is a revolutionary concept of high beliefs. That the past can live again as a reborn entity. \n“I was planning this record just prior to boarding a plane to Italy to record with Don Antonio and Nicola Peruch\,” Escovedo says. “My original idea was to record an album of new material. But then I changed my mind and thought that revisiting songs from my various past albums throughout my career would be more interesting. I have a great faith in these two artists to always create something interesting with whatever I might bring to the session. These songs were already dressed for the dance.” \nEverything on Echo Dancing has a feeling of absolute freshness about it\, and at the same time\, there is a strong link to the past. It’s almost like reincarnation in the recording studio\, but everything seems brand new. All the musicians are dedicated to finding the new amongst the songs’ prior history. It is not something that happens often\, and it surely has never occurred quite like it does on this fascinating new collection. \nAlejandro Escovedo knew that an experience like the one he was embarking on needed all the freshness he could find\, and off he went to Italy. Sometimes there are now choices in how to approach a new vision. It simply has to be started with total dedication. “I find that recording in a foreign country opens the creative eye in a way that working at home lacks\,” he says. And the way the experiment works was proof that today’s approach to these songs has a rock-solid beauty to it. A new sonic world has opened. “Surprises were a daily occurance\,” the musician says\, “and we embraced them with exuberance. Is it the beginning or the end? I feel there have always been certain songs on my albums that have guided me to new approaches in my music. That is really the goal of recording. To keep moving forward no matter what it takes. That’s why I continue to work on new ways to tell these stories.” \nTruer words were never spoken than Alejandro Escovedo’s love for exploration in the music he writes and plays. The son of a Mexican immigrant and a Texas native\, the sounds that Escovedo first discovered and then performed morphed into all kinds of exciting styles of his life. A member of the first-wave punk rock group The Nuns in San Francisco\, he moved to New York and joined the Judy Nylon band and experienced the total electricity of the late 1970s there. Moving then to Austin was a radical shift of geography and musical style when Escovedo helped form one of the country’s first so-called Cowpunk adventurers. It often seems like the man has been on a pirate-like adventure through the kinds of music he is drawn to. Those sounds are usually new and often have a strong edge of the avant-garde in them. \nDeeply embedded in the burgeoning Austin scene in the 1980s\, Escovedo was a prime architect in the new band True Believers\, which included his brother Javier and Jon Dee Graham. In many ways the band helped build the gateway to the whole burgeoning Americana music scene which prospers to this day\, but it was also the turning point for Alejandro Escovedo to take his life in his control and record solo albums. In the thirty-plus years since that decision has come a wild roller-coaster ride of groups\, spinoffs\, tribute albums and even original dramatic projects and experiments. In 1998\, No Depression Magazine named him Artist of the Decade. For this musician\, though\, that was just the start of a life that twists and turns wherever Escovedo’s clearly uninhibited imagination takes him. \nThe 21st century has been a time of widely successful excursions that only a few American musicians are able to create. Between adventurous solo albums\, continuing collaborations with other musicians\, and an ever-growing sense of boundary-breaking\, Alejandro Escovedo has created his own definition of what a modern rock artist can accomplish. Which is exactly why Echo Dancing comes at the perfect time for this man. While it does seem Escovedo has his own category of accomplishments\, to now bring together these songs he has previously recorded and inject such exciting new and different life into them is a complete exoneration of his belief in the future. \n“I said goodbye to certain phases of my life as I have grown\,” the musician says. “I greeted new acquaintances musically. And I was extremely surprised by the outcome. That is the thrill of being alive. I feel we have now made a beautiful collection of songs recorded in an effortless vibe of collaboration and camaraderie. I can’t give Nicola and Antonio enough credit and thanks for their musicianship and wide-open approach to making this album. And I should also mention Ivano Giovedi\, who incredibly engineered the recordings. He did an amazing job.” \n“Everyone involved has guided me to new approaches to my music\, like other musicians have my whole life. I have always worked hard to discover new ways to tell the story. I’ve never hidden my love for Brian Eno\, Roxy Music\, Judy Nylon\, Cluster\, along with the Stooges\, New York Dolls\, MC5\, Roky Erickson\, Lightnin’ Hopkins\, Joe Ely\, Terry Allen; you get the picture. There is always more work to be done and joy to be made. I am nowhere near finished.” \nEcho Dancing makes sure Alejandro Escovedo’s evolving circle remains unbroken. \nWe will not be open during normal business hours for this show – ticket holders will be able to check in and the venue will open at the door time listed on this event page.  \nFood & Bar: Our full bar and a limited menu of pizza\, salads\, charcuterie\, and desserts will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:The Wildwoods
DESCRIPTION:“Every note we play is a chapter in our story\, a journey through the heart of American roots music. We’re The Wildwoods—where each lyric is a leaf in the vast forest of our sound.” \nFrom the heart of Lincoln\, Nebraska\, The Wildwoods have grown into a folk/Americana trio rooted in rich harmonies and heartfelt storytelling. Formed by husband-and-wife duo Noah (guitar) and Chloe Gose (violin)\, and joined by longtime friend and bassist Andrew Vaggalis\, the band crafts songs that feel both intimate and expansive—tales of home\, hope\, and the open road. \nTheir newest release\, Dear Meadowlark (2025)\, is a love letter to the land that raised them. Inspired by seasons of touring\, homesickness\, and rediscovery\, the album weaves chamber-folk arrangements with poetic lyricism\, highlighting their signature harmonies and acoustic instrumentation. It follows a growing discography that includes Sweet Nostalgia (2017)\, Birdie & Goose (2017)\, Across a Midwest Sky (2019)\, and Foxfield Saint John (2023). \nOn stage\, The Wildwoods have shared lineups with artists like Mighty Poplar\, Sierra Ferrell\, Aoife O’Donovan\, Melissa Carper\, Jaime Wyatt\, and Joe Nichols\, with appearances at renowned festivals including Summerfest\, FreshGrass\, and the Oyster Ridge Music Festival. Their songwriting continues to gain national attention—earning 2nd place in the 2024 Rocky Mountain Songwriting Contest for their song “Sweet Niobrara\,” and securing semi-final spots in the International Songwriting Competition with “Untitled” and “Way of Train.” \nThe trio has also been recognized locally\, earning the title of Best Band in the Lincoln Journal Star’s 2022 Lincoln’s Choice Awards and consistently receiving honors from the Omaha Arts and Entertainment Awards. They were finalists in both the FreshGrass Band Competition and the Gems on VHS “Gems in the Rough” contest in 2023. \nInfluenced by artists like Watchhouse\, Nickel Creek\, and Gillian Welch & David Rawlings\, The Wildwoods blend folk\, bluegrass\, and indie sensibilities into something uniquely their own. Their music is lush with nature imagery\, layered harmonies\, and an emotional sincerity that captures the quiet beauty of their Midwestern roots. \nWhether weaving tales from their rural upbringing or capturing fleeting moments from life on tour\, The Wildwoods create a sound that feels like home…wherever you are. \nWe will not be open during normal business hours for this show – ticket holders will be able to check in and the venue will open at the door time listed on this event page.  \nFood & Bar: Our full bar and a limited menu of pizza\, salads\, charcuterie\, and desserts will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:David Cook
DESCRIPTION:David Cook (and yes\, the same David Cook who launched into stardom following his American Idol Season Seven win – breaking several Billboard chart records when 14 of his songs debuted on the Hot Digital Songs chart and 11 of his songs debuted on the Hot 100) certainly knows his way around a good song. His first album\, Analog Heart\, came out pre-Idol\, and his last album\, Digital Vein\, nicely book-ended that chapter of Cook’s career\, a chapter during which he sold more than 2 million albums (including his platinum-certified eponymous album) and\, collectively\, more than 5 million tracks (including two platinum-certified singles) worldwide. \nDavid continues to find success\, not only for himself\, but also as a writer for other artists and touring throughout the world. 2018 brought an exciting new EP from Cook – Chromance. “I was a ‘rock’ guy\, but the further away I’ve gotten from that\, the more I’ve opened up and found inspiration in the peripherals. I wouldn’t have had the courage earlier in my career\, but now I have the confidence to go after the sound I want.” A fan of both Massive Attack and Nine Inch Nails\, Cook always admired how they pushed the envelope and brought pop elements into rock music. “I used them as a bedrock for Chromance and how I wanted the record to feel.” \nIf putting out his 2018 EP wasn’t enough to keep Cook busy\, that same year he headed to the Great White Way for his Broadway debut as Charlie Price in KINKY BOOTS. “I’ve had conversations about finding creative outlets outside of being a musician\, but the timing was never right.” While Cook was excited about his first starring role\, he was also aware the message behind KINKY BOOTS was timely and\nrelevant. “I was honored to be part of the show and get to work with so many amazing people. I love the collaborative aspect of theatre too\, the idea of being part of a creative team and working it out in front of an audience each night.” \nAnother passion of Cook’s is his work in behalf of organizations such as the National Brain Tumor Society\, a Washington DC-based nonprofit that drives cutting-edge research and treatments for brain cancer and brain tumors. “I’ve been very involved with this cause and am very grateful that my career has allowed me to do that. I lost my brother Adam to a brain tumor in 2009; every year I am part of the Race for Hope-DC and\, together with my fans\, have raised over $1.5 million for brain cancer and brain tumor research through this and other fundraising projects. Far and away\, that is the proudest of all my achievements.” \nCook is well aware\, and grateful\, for the breaks American Idol has brought his way\, and for the opportunities he continues to have. He has no plans to slow it down. “I love creative endeavors. I like starting with nothing and then finishing with something that didn’t exist before. That’s my favorite thing about creating new music. I love being able to put something artistic out in the world for people to enjoy.” \nIn 2020\, David released two new singles. The first\, Reds Turn Blue\, is a nod to the manic highs (reds) and lows (blues) of anxiety\, something David has struggled to overcome since his season seven win on American Idol. As David told People.com: “This song became a therapeutic process for me\, as a way to personify my anxiety and make it something other than me — which\, in an odd way\, has helped me navigate my relationship with it.” To capture that struggle\, David worked with artist Justin A. Nixon to create a visual that was\, “sci-fi and sinister” but left open-ended to represent “that constant battle between anxiety and myself.” And the second\, Strange World\, is “my homage to this year\,” said David. “Staring out of windows at the world outside\, feeling disconnected from it\, and trying to find those\nmoments that would normally exist outside\, inside. “Both singles\, along with the driving Fire are from his EP The Looking Glass\, released in April 2021. \nIn April 2022\, David released his latest single\, “TABOS” (This’ll All Be Over Soon). The single’s release coincided with his return to the American Idol® stage to perform for their special 20th-anniversary reunion show. \nIn July 2024\, David released his latest single\, “Dead Weight” co-written with long-time collaborator\, Andy Skib to coincide with his summer tour. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:The Shootouts
DESCRIPTION:Formed in Akron\, Ohio\, in October 2015\, The Shootouts have grown into one of the most acclaimed roots-country bands in America\, forging a sound that Rolling Stone hailed as “perfect rustbelt country.” \nBlending honky-tonk grit with Americana storytelling\, the band released their debut album\, Quick Draw\, in 2019\, followed by Bullseye (2021)\, Stampede (2023)\, and Switchback (2025). Along the way\, they’ve earned multiple award nominations\, national press\, and a reputation as tireless road warriors with a powerful live show. \nTheir breakthrough came with Stampede\, co-produced by Ray Benson of Asleep at the Wheel. Their three-minute power-pop gems have been featured on MTV’s Laguna Beach and A&E’s Gene Simmons Family Jewels\, and they’ve been in radio rotation from South Carolina to Seattle. \nThat’s the short story. The long story of Watershed’s journey from rock’s minor leagues to the majors and back is the subject of Oestreich’s book Hitless Wonder (2012)\, featured on NPR’s Weekend Edition. Donald Ray Pollock (The Devil All the Time\, Knockemstiff) named Hitless Wonder “the best and most honest memoir about the thwarted desire for rock stardom that you will ever read\,” while Tom Perrotta (Election\, The Leftovers\, etc.) called it “a wonderful book about […] a scrappy band that doesn’t know how to quit.” \nProduced by Tim Patalan—who also recorded the band’s best-received albums\, The More It Hurts\, the More It Works (2002) and Fifth of July (2005)—Blow It Up Before It Breaks is available on all streaming services\, at bandcamp (digital)\, and at watershedcentral.com (vinyl). \nOn Blow it Up\, Watershed sounds like a (gasp) rock band. That may sound trite\, but these days rock bands—real rock bands\, the kind that play Les Pauls and Marshalls\, not MacBooks—are hard to come by. As Amplifier Magazine’s Tom Semoli writes\, a Watershed show is “akin to the manner in which the Replacements and the Faces once bravely blurred the fine line between mayhem and total professionalism.” In the Midwest\, Watershed shows are legendary. But Watershed hasn’t stuck it out for all these years to be “legendary” any more than Cool Hand Luke downed all those eggs because he was hungry. No\, Watershed takes the stages of musty clubs\, belting their songs like their lives depend on it\, because they’re one of the last rock bands standing. And that’s what rock bands do. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show. If you would like to eat before the show we encourage you to make a dinner reservation on Resy for our kitchen side of the venue.

SUMMARY:Chris Smither
DESCRIPTION:Honing a synthesis of folk and blues for 50 years\, Chris Smither is truly an American original. Reviewers and fans from around the world\, including Rolling Stone and The New York Times\, agree that Chris continues to be a profound songwriter\, a blistering guitarist\, and intense performer as he draws deeply from the blues\, American folk music\, modern poets and humanist philosophers. \nHe may be best known for writing “Love You Like A Man” which Bonnie Raitt and\, more recently\, jazz great Diana Krall have covered.  His music has been covered by numerous artists\, including ‘Link Of Chain’\, a tribute album of Chris Smither originals featuring stellar versions by Dave Alvin\, Tim O’Brien\, Bonnie Raitt\, Josh Ritter\, Loudon Wainwright III\, Jorma Kaukonen\, Eilen Jewell\, Paul Cebar and others. \nHis 20th release\, All About the Bones is as elemental as the inky black shadows cast by a shockingly bright moon. Featuring eight brand new Chris Smither songs and Smither renditions of Eliza Gilkyson’s “Calm Before the Storm” and also Tom Petty’s “Time to Move On”\, the listener is welcomed into some gothic mansion on an imaginary New Orleans street\, and there in the lamplit parlor confronts the band\, a minimalist skeleton crew: Smither’s inimitable propulsive guitar and rumbling baritone are joined seamlessly to producer David Goodrich’s carpetbag of instruments\, Zak Trojano’s rock-steady\, primal drumming\, BettySoo’s diaphanous harmony vocals\, and the flat\, mournful flood of Jazz legend Chris Cheek’s saxophone. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Rodney Crowell
DESCRIPTION:Rodney Crowell is the songwriter’s songwriter and an icon among giants. Native Texan\, Crowell is a multi-Grammy Award-winning troubadour with fifteen number one hits. Over the course of his career\, Crowell has gracefully blended his own mainstream success as an artist with a prolific catalog of songs cut by the likes of Emmylou Harris\, Johnny Cash\, Waylon Jennings\, Keith Urban and more\, making him a master among his peers. \nWith more than 40 years of American roots music under his belt\, Crowell has also been cited as the architect of Americana music\, extending his genre reach\, but owing to the distinctly universal\, literary quality of his writing\, he has also penned beloved songs for artists as diverse as Bob Seger\, Etta James\, the Grateful Dead\, John Denver\, Jimmy Buffett and countless others. \nA member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame\, Crowell is also the author of the acclaimed memoir\, Chinaberry Sidewalks\, and teamed up with New York Times best-selling author Mary Karr for Kin: Songs by Mary Karr & Rodney Crowell in 2012\, with Karr saying of her collaborator\, “Like Hank Williams or Townes Van Zandt or Miss Lucinda\, he writes and croons with a poet’s economy and a well digger’s deep heart.” Crowell was honored with ASCAP’s prestigious Founder’s Award in 2017\, and that same year released the album Close Ties\, which spawned another Grammy nomination for “It Ain’t Over Yet” with Rosanne Cash and John Paul White in the category of Best Americana Song. 2019’s Texas was a collection of Lone Star-centric collaborations with Ringo Starr\, Willie Nelson\, Ronnie Dunn\, Steve Earle and more\, and Crowell’s most recent album release is the 2021 set\, Triage. \nCrowell came up in Nashville’s songwriting heyday alongside Guy Clark\, Townes Van Zandt\, and Steve Earle and has continued that legacy of camaraderie and kinship with his peers well into the iconic era of his career. As many say – “your favorite song was probably written by Rodney Crowell.” \nCrowell has four daughters and lives with his wife and dog in Tennessee. He writes every day and loves tending to his garden. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Guy Clark Texas Cookin' Festival
DESCRIPTION:It’s the 50th Anniversary of Guy Clark’s Texas Cookin’!\nZeppelin Productions along with Bob Teague and Friends present a special celebration of Guy Clark at Natalie’s Grandview! \nThe event begins with a screening of documentary Without Getting Killed or Caught that covers the true story of Guy Clark—the dean of Texan songwriters whose distinct\, poetic take on American folk and country music elevated him from obscurity to reverence. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter has had his songs covered by the likes of Emmylou Harris\, Johnny Cash\, Willie Nelson\, and others.  \nTamara Saviano’s film follows the story of Clark\, his wife Susanna Clark\, and his friend\, singer-songwriter Townes Van Zandt with never-before-seen exclusive interviews as Saviano had Clark’s complete cooperation before his death in 2016. Featuring the voice of Sissy Spacek\, the film speaks from Susanna Clark’s perspective while offering poignant reflections from Guy Clark’s closest friends and musical allies like Rodney Crowell\, Steve Earle\, Vince Gill\, Verlon Thompson\, and Terry and Jo Harvey Allen\, as well as record executive Barry Poss. \nImmediately following the screening\, host Alec Wightman (Zeppelin Productions) will be joined in conversation by Tamara Saviano – the filmmaker behind Without Getting Killed or Caught\, longtime friend\, collaborator and current President and Creative Director of the Guy Clark Foundation. \nThe Natalie’s kitchen will be cookin’ up something special!\nA tasty Texas Cookin’ inspired meal will be available to order along with the full Natalie’s menu.  \nAnd to cap off the evening\, a very special performance by Verlon Thompson and Shawn Camp!\nIt was just another one of Guy Clark’s keen ideas to introduce the “Okie” and “Arkansawyer”. He knew them both well but they didn’t know each other when they all took the stage that night in Little Rock over twenty years ago. With Camp on his left and Thompson on his right\, Guy broke into “Texas Cookin’”. When the smoke cleared a couple of hours later\, a strong and steady friendship was born. \nThompson continued performing with Guy Clark on the road with Camp joining them when he wasn’t busy writing hit songs and touring behind his own releases. Guy always said he’d “hire Shawn full time if I could afford him!”    \nThe names Camp and Thompson appear on many Guy Clark recordings as well. \nThompson collaborated with Clark on the title track of the 1992 “Boats to Build” album and shared co-producer credits on several projects including “Workbench Songs” and “Somedays the Song Writes You”\, both Grammy nominated for Best Contemporary Folk album. \nCamp won the Americana Album of the Year Award for co-producing “This One’s For Him: A Tribute to Guy Clark” and then went on to win a Grammy for producing Clark’s “My Favorite Picture Of You”. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show. \n

SUMMARY:Mary Fahl
DESCRIPTION:With “a voice for the gods that can transport listeners to other realms” (Boston Globe)\, Mary Fahl is an expressive\, emotional singer/songwriter who first achieved fame as lead singer and co-founder of the mid-1990s NYC- based chamber-pop group October Project\, a band known for their lush harmonies\, sweeping melodies and Fahl’s unique and powerful vocals. After two records on Epic\, Fahl had more freedom to pursue her own muse\, whether that meant writing and recording songs for movies (including the theme for the Civil War epic “Gods and Generals”)\, singing arias and medieval Spanish songs for Sony Classical or releasing a unique album-length take on “Dark Side of the Moon”. \nWith an earthy\, viscerally powerful contralto that bridges the generational gap between Fairport Convention’s Sandy Denny and London Grammar’s Hannah Reid\, Mary Fahl makes music that feels timeless\, esoteric and ecumenical. Her elegant\, cinematic songs have a hauntingly gothic romanticism that inspired renowned writer Anne Rice to portray Mary’s voice emanating from a dead woman’s room in her 2013 novel The Wolves of Midwinter. \nOver the past few years\, she’s been touring and recording on her own label\, Rimar Records\, and her recent releases have garnered awards including an Indie Acoustic Award for Best Live Album for “Live at the Mauch Chunk Opera House” (filmed for PBS) and a 2020 Independent Music Award for her recent holiday album\, “Winter Songs and Carols”. Her latest release\, a Blu-ray 5.1 surround DVD\, “From the Dark Side of the Moon”\, brilliantly mixed by Bob Clearmountain\, won the 2021 Immersive Album Audio Listener’s Choice award and was named “Immersive Album of the Year” by Life in Surround. \nNow she returns with “Can’t Get It Out of My Head”. In an effort to find some light and comfort during these challenging times\, singer/songwriter Fahl looks back to some of the essential music that has brought her sustenance and clarity by reinterpreting songs from her greatest inspirations … Pink Floyd\, George Harrison\, Moody Blues\, ELO\, The Rolling Stones\, Neil Young and others. For Mary\, this is a tribute to the music that defined her as an artist. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Tommy Prine
DESCRIPTION:Tommy Prine’s debut album This Far South (June 2023) was not only a long-awaited introduction but a testimony to Prine’s 20s and the loss\, love\, and growth that has defined them. Co-produced by a close friend and kindred musical spirit\, Ruston Kelly\, and beloved Nashville engineer and producer\, Gena Johnson\, the album is rich and dynamic from cathartic jams to nostalgic storytelling. Celebrating the album’s first year\, Tommy released a deluxe version of the record on June 21\, 2024 – featuring reimagined versions\, a special guest and a brand new song. \n“Releasing my debut album changed so much in my life. The only things that stayed the same were my family\, my pets\, and my friends. Everything else changed drastically. I’ve had a few moments that felt like the point of no return\, releasing the album being one of them. Not in a scary way\, just in a way that there is no taking back art that you put out into the world. Once it has affected one other person\, it has already begun its own life and will in turn change the creator’s life.” \nPrine is currently crisscrossing the country headlining shows with his band and appearing at festivals including Green River\, Bristol Rhythm & Roots\, and Bourbon & Beyond. This past year\, Prine opened for Jason Isbell and Tyler Childers\, was named one of Amazon Music’s 2023 Breakthrough Artists to Watch and wrapped up the year by making his Grand Ole Opry debut. \nTommy learned to play guitar by watching his father\, mimicking the ways his fingers moved\, he inadvertently developed his own singular style. Prine sonically brings together a colorful patchwork of musical influences spanning Gillian Welch\, Outkast\, Bon Iver\, the Strokes and more. Lyrically\, Tommy explores existential questions and emotional experiences in his music. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:California Guitar Trio
DESCRIPTION:The universe of guitar knows no boundaries for The California Guitar Trio. Since 1991\, the group has enthralled listeners with a singular sound that fearlessly crisscrosses genres. The trio’s questing spirit drives it to explore the intersections between rock\, jazz\, classical\, and world music. It even throws in the occasional surf or spaghetti Western tune for good measure. \nComprised of Bert Lams\, Tom Griesgraber and Paul Richards\, the group has established a unique\, personal connection with audiences. In addition to dazzling musicianship and interplay\, The California Guitar Trio’s (CGT) shows are full of captivating stories and humor that enable concertgoers to feel like they’re part of the music\, not just spectators. \nCGT’s 21 albums\, streamed over 115 million times on Pandora\, Spotify\, Apple Music and Amazon Music\, offer diverse snapshots of the group’s mercurial muse. The trio’s latest album “Live In Scottsdale – On Tour With King Crimson” is a recording of the final opening set from the 2021 tour with the legendary King Crimson and features the new CGT 2.0 line up with Tom Griesgraber on Chapman Stick. \nCGT most recent studio release Elegy showcases its acoustic side\, with beautiful lush originals and innovative cover arrangements of Beatles\, Radiohead and more. Other highlights include Masterworks\, an album of classical works\, with expansive takes on Bach\, Beethoven\, Arvo Pärt\, and Schubert. Andromeda\, which combines their many influences into a visionary album of original material; CG3+2\, an exploration of kinetic rock territory in collaboration with bassist Tony Levin and drummer Pat Mastelotto; and Echoes\, which re-imagines timeless material by artists such as Mike Oldfield\, Penguin Café Orchestra\, Pink Floyd\, and Queen. \nThe trio’s output has made a major global impact\, having served as the soundtrack for Olympics coverage\, and programs on CNN\, CBS\, NBC\, and ESPN. They have fans in high places too: NASA used their music to wake the crew aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavor. \nCGT’s lineup is truly the sum of its distinct parts: A Utah native now residing in Los Angeles\, Paul Richards immersed himself in rock\, blues\, and jazz during his early days and while attending The University of Utah’s jazz guitar program. While on and off the\nroad\, Paul enjoys doing landscape photography. Prints of his work\, including photos from Robert Fripp and Toyah Wilcox’s English garden are available here. Paul’s Landscape Photography. \nBert Lams\, originally from Belgium\, graduated from the prestigious Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels\, winning awards in classical guitar performance. Bert Lams currently lives with his family in Jupiter Florida. \nTom Griesgraber\, the only California native in the group\, is from Encinitas. Tom is a virtuoso player of the Chapman Stick\, a guitar/bass hybrid tapping instrument invented in California by Emmett Chapman. Tom is a graduate of the Berklee School of Music on Boston. \nTokyo-born Hideyo Moriya began his guitar journey with surf music and British rock\, before relocating to Boston to study at Berklee. Hideyo is currently on hiatus from touring and lives in Chiba Japan. \nLams\, Richards and Moriya felt the call to push themselves to the limit by enrolling in Robert Fripp’s challenging Guitar Craft courses\, where they first met in 1987. They went on to tour together as part of Fripp’s League of Crafty Guitarists\, before forming the California Guitar Trio in Los Angeles four years later. \nRecently\, the trio expanded its collaborative possibilities by working within a six-guitar format with the Montreal Guitar Trio. During these groundbreaking\, highly-entertaining shows\, the acts perform inventive arrangements of each other’s repertoire\, and new music for guitar sextet. In 2019\, this powerful “phenomensemble” released In A Landscape featuring innovative arrangements for six guitars. \n32 years and 2000+ gigs later\, the CGT remains intensely committed to explore\, evolve and communicate a wide-ranging musical worldview. – Anil Prasad \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:David Nail: Down To The Studs - SOLD OUT
DESCRIPTION:The first 25 ticket buyers will be invited to an exclusive pre-show Meet & Greet with David Nail\, free of charge. \nHailing from Kennett\, Missouri\, David Nail is well-respected up and down Music Row. Some might even call him a “tour de force” as his songs pull no punches in evoking the demons with which he has wrestled through much of his life. The GRAMMY-nominated multi-platinum singer/songwriter’s early releases\, I’m About To Come Alive\, The Sound Of A Million Dreams\, I’m A Fire and Fighter\, ignited his reputation as an innovator and creative risk-taker yet left Nail feeling restless. This led to the departure of the only record company home he’d ever known\, MCA Nashville\, where he’d formed friendships that endure even now. Through dealing with his own journey of mental health and the feeling of needing to “rebel against what people expect you to be\,” Nail began making his most “organic” work to date\, David Nail & The Well Ravens\, with Jason Hall and Andrew Petroff. That project liberated Nail and propelled him into his next adventure. Writing solo for the next few months led to his debut solo independent EP Oh\, Mother\, a reflective piece of work. Of the title track\, Rolling Stone noted that “the song creeps in like a sunrise — quiet\, restrained cello and keys are the only underpinning for Nail’s powerful vocals at first. But then it slowly builds to something more massive and majestic.” That release was followed by Bootheel 2020 and Bootheel 2021\, projects dedicated to the singer/songwriter’s hometown in the “bootheel” of Missouri. Nail released an EP titled Best of Me in 2023 and the title track has seen heavy press support and country radio airplay. 2024 brought more touring than ever\, two great single releases “If I Could Call” and “Why” featuring Aubrie Sellers. Nail plans on releasing the start of an excitingly different and elevated album project this year leaving behind any self-imposed restrictions. In Nail’s own words\, “My philosophy has always been\, I just hope to have a good enough year that I can have a next year while staying as true to myself as I possibly can.” \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.
