SUMMARY:Scott H. Biram
DESCRIPTION:Scott H. Biram unleashes a fervent display of conviction through\, not only the genuine blues\, classic country\, bluegrass\, and rock n roll\, but he seals the deal with punk\, heavy metal\, and frankly\, anything else he wants to. He’s The Dirty Old One Man Band. He will still the room with haunting South Texas blues\, then turn it upside down\, into a truck driver’s mosh pit. Like he says\, it might be baptism\, or it might be murder\, either way…you gonna see the light.\nThis legally ordained preacher’s singing\, yodeling\, growling\, leering and brash preachin’ and hollerin’ is accompanied by sloppy riffs\, and licks literally yanked\, one at a time\, out of his collection of crusty\, worn out\, Gibson hollowbody guitars\, and battle axes. All this held down with a pounding backbeat brought forth by his amplified left foot\, and self customed stomp board. The remainder of this brutally charming one-man band consists of an unwieldy combination of beat-up amplifiers and old microphones strung together by a tangled mess of guitar cables. Don’t get too close! You gonna get some grease on ya! \nYears of compulsive touring\, along with a steady diet of down and dirty blues\, rock\, punk\, country\, and hillbilly have developed Scott H. Biram’s signature concoction\, attracting a hefty array of fans who dig the bizarre and twisted sides of the rock and roll spectrum. His live shows\, performed all over the world\, deliver a take no prisoners attitude\, a stomping\, pulsing John Lee Hooker-channeling\, and cockeyed tales of black water baptisms and murder\, all while romanticizing the on-the-road lifestyle. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:The Sadies w/ Julianna Riolino
DESCRIPTION:The Sadies \nWebsite | Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | Twitter \nWithout doubt or qualification\, The Sadies are one of this continent’s greatest extant rock ’n’ roll bands — just as they have been for the last quarter-century. Versatile and imaginative\, they skip from astral psychedelia to shuffling bucolics and leap from puckish pop to righteous garage-rock without losing momentum or mastery. Their albums deliver masterclasses on pointed songwriting\, lockstep harmonies\, and a devil-may-care attitude to expectations and past successes.  With their new album – Colder Streams – out now\, check out what Shindig Magazine calls “a stone-cold masterpiece”. \nJulianna Riolino \n \nInstagram | Facebook | Spotify | Twitter \nJulianna Riolino knows how to capture and highlight beauty before it fades. On her debut LP\, ‘All Blue\,’ Riolino reflects on her own past\, the memories of pain\, healing\, and love strewn through it. The songs focus morality and the stretch of time\, seeping naturally into Riolino’s Americana-indebted songwriting\, resulting in a golden and fluid debut. Blending past and present musically represents Riolino’s own experience as well\, the songs written over a period of years\, their meanings picking beyond that stretch and pulling lessons forward. And in that process\, her philosophical lyrics bring that complexity forward to the listener in surreally sweet melodies\, pouring growth and healing directly through the ear and into the heart. ‘All Blue’ is out now on You’ve Changed Records. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Sean McConnell & Garrison Starr Present: My Sister\, My Brother
DESCRIPTION:Sean McConnell & Garrison Starr Present: My Sister\, My Brother. \nIf trust had a sound\, it’d be My Sister\, My Brother. \n“Sometimes you just immediately trust somebody––you’re at ease from the beginning\,” says Garrison Starr “You know they’ve got your back. It feels easy. I immediately felt that way with Sean.” \nGarrison is talking about Sean McConnell\, her musical partner in My Sister\, My Brother\, a new group with the kind of natural magic that only happens when kismet masquerades as coincidence. Individually\, they are independent solo artists known for smart songwriting and breathtaking vocals. Together\, their voices reach that rarefied air typically reserved for families: harmonies that twin and snake around each other to hypnotize and soothe. “When we started writing and especially when we started singing together\, it was like\, ‘Wow. This is not normal. This feels very natural\,’” Sean says. “It feels like singing with a sibling you’ve sung with for a long time. Very quickly\, it became a special collaboration.” \nThe two artists formed My Sister\, My Brother\, not because they’d planned to\, but because they had to. They first sat down to write during a songwriting retreat. They emerged with “Nothing Without You\,” a stunner with its heart on its sleeve. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Graham Nash at Southern Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Legendary artist Graham Nash\, as a founding member of both the Hollies and Crosby\, Stills and Nash\, is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. He has seen rock history unfold at some of its seminal moments – from the launch of the British Invasion to the birth of the Laurel Canyon movement a year later. An extraordinary Grammy Award® winning renaissance artist – and self-described “simple man” – Nash was inducted twice into the Songwriters Hall of Fame\, for his work with CSN and his work as a solo artist. \nTowering above virtually everything that Graham Nash has accomplished in his long and multi-faceted career\, stands the litany of songs that he has written and introduced to the soundtrack of our lives for nearly six decades. \nNash’s remarkable body of work began with his contributions to the Hollies opus from 1964 to ’68\, including “Stop Stop Stop\,” “On A Carousel\,” and “King Midas In Reverse\,” among others. \nThe original classic union of Crosby\, Stills & Nash (& Young) lasted but twenty months. Yet their songs are lightning rods embedded in our DNA\, starting with Nash’s “Marrakesh Express\,” “Pre-Road Downs” and “Lady of the Island\,” from the first Crosby\, Stills & Nash LP and his iconic “Teach Your Children” and “Our House” from CSNY’s Déjà Vu. \nNash’s career as a solo artist took flight in 1971\, beginning with two landmark albums\, Songs For Beginners and Wild Tales which further showcased the depths of his abilities as a singer and songwriter\, yielding such favorites as “Chicago/We Can Change the World” and “Military Madness”. \nGraham Nash will be joined on stage by his longtime musical partners\, Shane Fontayne (guitar and vocals) and Todd Caldwell (keyboards and vocals)\, performing favorites from across his sixty-year career.

SUMMARY:An Evening with Loudon Wainwright III
DESCRIPTION:“75 is a big number\,” says Loudon Wainwright III. He’s referring to the age he recently turned\, as well as “How Old Is 75?” one of the many beautifully reflective songs on his latest release Lifetime Achievement. Milestones aside\, the truth is that Loudon has always been a keen observer of his own aging process\, documenting it with an honesty that few songwriters would dare use. \nAfter thirty albums\, countless concert appearances\, a Grammy\, many film and TV roles\, and songs recorded by such artists as Johnny Cash\, Mose Allison\, Bonnie Raitt and his son Rufus\, Loudon sounds as engaged and passionate as ever. His singular talent as our foremost six-string analyst and tragicomedian extraordinaire is not only undiminished\, but hitting new heights of what NPR calls his “unmatched wit and wisdom” on Lifetime Achievement.  \n“When I think about the fact that I’ve been doing this for half a century\, it’s kind of incredible. It’s encouraging in a funny kind of way – that it’s gone on this long and it’s still a lot of fun. The performing part of it\, and the mysterious thing of getting to write a new song. After the doldrums of the past two years\, I had a creative burst in the last year\, and that felt good. It was something to build a record on.” \nWith a full tour itinerary already in place\, Loudon is looking forward to taking the new songs onto the stage. Looking back on a legacy the New York Times calls “rich\, complicated and often surprisingly dark\,” he says\, “I remember when I made my first record for Atlantic in 1969. I was always saying\, ‘I want to make a voice and guitar record\, and I want it to be a record – not only a recording\, but a document that captures a moment.’ I was 21 and very serious\, and I thought I’d be dead in four years (laughs). So I wanted to make something that would last. A testament. Now\, fifty years later\, I guess I still want to make a testament. I want to write a group of songs and get them down in the best possible way. And I like to think they might last a while.” \nFood & Bar: Food service for this show will available until 8pm (tables will need to be cleared by this time) and our full bar will be open until the end of the show.

SUMMARY:Alexia Bomtempo
DESCRIPTION:Alexia Bomtempo is an artist of multiple worlds. The Brazilian-American singer and songwriter has been heralded by The Washington Post as a “top-shelf Brazilian jazz musician” and has released five critically acclaimed albums as a solo artist. Highlighted on NPR Music’s All Songs Considered as one of the best releases of the week\, her most recent album DOCE CARNAVAL is a love letter to the timeless soundtrack of Brazilian Carnaval\, with Bomtempo reimagining classic Carnaval songs and infusing them with her own intoxicating vocals and “doce” (sweet) musical flourishes. \nBorn to an American mother and a concert-promoter Brazilian father\, Alexia was raised in the beach culture of Rio de Janeiro\, while traveling to America frequently over the years. She grew up listening to Brazilian popular music and Bossa Nova\, as well as rock\, folk and jazz. Since relocating back to New York City\, Alexia has fully embraced\, challenged\, and redefined the Northern half of her American artistic roots. Her sound is individual and confidently feminine\, navigating genres ranging from classic American song to exploratory Tropicália.

SUMMARY:Wonderful: A Tribute to Stevie Wonder
DESCRIPTION:Stevland Hardaway Judkins\, known in the world of music as Stevie Wonder\, is a singer\, producer\, and composer of genres such as Soul\, R & B\, funk\, and jazz. Blind virtually since birth\, Wonder’s heightened awareness of sound helped him create vibrant\, colorful music teeming with life and ambition. \nStevie Wonder has influenced and inspired us all over the last sixty years! Join us as we pay tribute to the living legend through song on this\, his birthday weekend. \nVocalists Talisha Holmes\, Paisha Thomas\, Dre Peace\, Monique “Maverick” Mitchell and Jamalia Jackson along with instrumental musicians Brandon “BJazz” Scott\, Mike Ealy\, Jeffro Jam and Rob Riley\, will be performing some of their favorite classics and B-side cuts. \nPaisha Thomas’ performances seek to inform and inspire. To ask the question – When will we overcome? And present a call to action to the audience\, bringing them into the movement. \nMarquisa (Monique) Mitchell or “Maverick” is an accomplished Background Singer and Vocal Coach\, born and raised in Gary\, Indiana\, with over 35 years experience of live performing and session singing. Her commanding\, soulful vocals along with the uncanny ability to mimic\, makes her a versatile songstress\, able to adapt to any genre and project. \nHis name is Dre Peace. He’s from Trotwood\, Ohio. He creates environments with his voice. \nNo matter who is on the bandstand\, Talisha Holmes is known for giving both an energetic and intimate show. Talisha specializes in an eclectic fusion of jazz\, soul\, pop\, folk\, electro and rock. \nJamalia Jackson is a vocalist with over twenty years of experience in multiple genres of music ranging in gospel\, choral\, reggae\, rhythm and blues\, soul\, and pop. Similarly to her musical range\, Jamalia has been influenced by a broad depth of talent from her youth in Warren\, Ohio to her evolution as a background vocalist in Columbus\, Ohio. \nRob Riley is a Chameleon of the groove. As a drummer\, his professional career spans over 30 years playing gospel\, rock\, hip hop\, jazz\, and also 20 plus years in music production. Rob has proven time and time again to be the foundation of many groups. \nThough anyone can see the passion in his face behind the keys\, Brandon “B Jazz” Scott is more than your average piano man. The writer/producer/musician is a perfect storm of creativity\, simplicity and eagerness that has some of the biggest names in Soul music buzzing about his unique sound. \nFor decades\, Jeffro Jam has been known for always “bringing that vibe “ with his Moog synthesizers and unique vocal flare on the talkbox. From colorful textures to Funk-Face grooves\, Jeffro embraces all energies with every given platform. \nSince being forced as a young lad to play a fretless bass (the closest thing he had to his then-true love\, the guitar)\, Mike Ealy has always added a unique tilt in his approach to the instrument. Influenced by a vanguard of innovators such as Victor Wooten and Matthew Garrison\, Mike’s propensity for harmonic expansion over the foundational root of the instrument provides a unique landscape for the listeners’ journey\, no matter the piece\, familiar or new. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

SUMMARY:Jay Nash and Dan Rodriguez
DESCRIPTION:A great double lineup on Charlie’s Stage featuring performances by singer songwriters Jay Nash and Dan Rodriguez! \nJay Nash \n“It’s a bit of a paradox.  I still feel like an up-and-coming singer-songwriter\, with my most exciting days just in front of me.  It’s funny because I have been writing songs and singing for my supper for almost 25 years…crazy how time flies when you are having fun.  Still\, I am as excited as ever for the next song\, the next record\, and the next gig.” – JN \nOver the span of his self-described\, ‘under the radar’ career\, Jay Nash’s rough-hewn voice\, poignant melodies\, and unique yet subtly virtuosic approach to the guitar have taken him across the United States and Europe more times than he can count.  He has released seven full-length solo albums\, and four solo EPs along with another ten albums with his collaborative efforts with TFDI\, The Contenders\, Garrison Starr\, and Caitlin Crosby..racking up 10s of millions of streams and selling over 70\,000 records.  In his time off the road\, where he’s racked up thousands of live performances\, Nash has created the original motion picture score for three feature films\, a Dutch television series\, and dozens of nationally run commercial spots. \nDan Rodriguez \nHi\, I’m Dan. I’m a whiskey & beer drinking\, fishing & hunting loving\, motorcycle riding\, quality food eating\, hippie sympathizing\, hobby farm running\, people loving\, husband & father who lives in Minneapolis and shares a life with my amazing wife and two adorable sons named Oak and Alder. I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit\, MI\, and moved to Minneapolis when I was 18 to study music\, and I stayed because I’m one of those crazy people that enjoys the snow and cold weather. \nSongwriting\, and performing those songs for people\, is both my trade and my passion. When I’m not in my studio writing and cutting records\, or on the road playing shows\, I’m usually playing in the woods with our boys\, tending to our backyard chickens\, eating fresh veggies from my wife’s huge garden\, making syrup from our maple grove\, or doing one of my many outdoor hobbies. \nNow here are a few things about my music career that I should probably share in a music bio: \n\nIn September 2014 Budweiser released their “Friends Are Waiting” commercial campaign featuring me singing my song When You Come Home and it premiered during both The World Series & The Super Bowl.\n\n\nIn February\, 2018\, I released my album 25 Years and the title track is now inching toward 1 million listens.\n\n\nIn October\, 2018\, Miller Lite featured my newest single “So Good” in one of their commercials that played for months during NFL games on ESPN & more.\n\n\nIn March\, 2019\, my song “You Feel Like Home” was featured in Explore Minnesota Tourism’s newest ad campaign.\n\n\nIn 2022 I released my album Troubadour Family Man. It’s my debut self-produced record and I couldn’t be more proud of it.\n\n\nOver the years I’ve had the honor of sharing the stage with some really cool artists & bands including The Civil Wars\, Andy Grammer\, Eric Hutchinson\, Matt Nathanson\, NeedtoBreathe\, Augustana\, Tyrone Wells\, O.A.R.\, Haley Reinhart\, Jon McLaughlin\, Will Hoge\, Drew Holcomb\, Sister Hazel\, and more\n\nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

Priscilla is an international performing artist  singer-songwriter with 7 albums\, mental health and wellness advocate\, life coach\, life skills professional developer\, Pastor\, and three times author. \nThe PEER (Peer’s Enriching Each others’ Recovery) Center began operations in January 2007 as a consumer-operated\, drop-in program for individuals living with mental illness and/or alcohol or other drug addiction\, located within a traditional mental health services agency. From the beginning\, it was intended to serve as a place where associates (members) could learn about their illness or addiction\, talk with others about their struggles and recovery\, and spend time with others who have “walked the walk” to improve their lives. The PEER Center continues that focus\, along with an effort to educate and support family members of individuals living with mental illness or drug / alcohol addiction. SUMMARY:Jesse Terry and Alice Wallace
DESCRIPTION:Jesse Terry’s seventh album\, When We Wander\, is the first he wrote since becoming a parent. So\, it’s no surprise the family theme courses through many of its 12 songs. His music career has been a family project ever since he became a full-time touring artist a decade ago. The stage had been Jesse’s home for a decade. He plays around 150 shows a year\, from Bonnaroo to the Philadelphia Folk Festival\, the 30A Songwriters Festival to AmericanaFest. \n“It’s a song about taking the risk to do what you love\,” Alice Wallace says of the soaring track\, “The Blue\,” which yields a lyric entitling her spellbinding new album. With Into the Blue\, the singer-songwriter taps into the influence of her native California – conjuring the atmospheric sound of the Golden State’s canyons and deserts\, mountains and crashing waves\, its crowning beauty and its tragic losses. At the same time\, the supple-voiced Wallace tells her own and others’ stories\, weaving tales that resonate as we grapple with so many disturbing national issues. Into the Blue is Wallace’s fourth album but marks her debut on the brand-new Rebelle Road label\, an imprint founded by a trio of women dedicated to strengthening the California Country music community and expanding visibility for female artists in the Americana/roots genre. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.
