Rio de Bordo Trio (translated as Maple River) is a dynamic ensemble that brings the rich rhythms and harmonies of Brazil to the Midwest. Featuring Laura Camara on vocals and beatboxing, Logan Moore on saxophone and flute, and Will Strickler on electric bass and guitar, the group blends their diverse musical backgrounds with a shared passion for music from Brazil. Inspired by the artistry of Edu Lobo, Tom Jobim, Astrud Gilberto and more, Rio de Bordo explores the worlds of Samba, Choro, Baião and Bossa Nova.
