Krajcik & Peppercorn & Loveless & Bloom

Join hosts Josh Krajcik and Joe Peppercorn along with friends Lydia Loveless and Lily Bloom for a stellar evening as these remarkable artists share some of their favorite songs and the stories and experiences that have inspired them.

Josh Krajcik’s career began at 15 on the stages of bars in Ohio – forging a grunge-y, blues soul sound that would evolve over countless hours on the road supporting artist friends on tour opening for Brandi Carlile, The Fray, and Corinne Bailey Rae, and through multiple self released albums. His first major label release – Blindly Lonely Lovely – followed a stint on the first season of the X Factor, where he was runner up. A cowrite with Swedish DJ Avicii (Addicted to You) followed. Then in 2017, Krajcik returned to his roots with the self-released album Oblivion. A life changing event in 2019 jettisoned Krajcik into a new body of work. Deeply personal with universal meaning – EPIPHANIAC (2024) explores concepts of death and life, space and time, alternate realities and the trauma and beauty of survival.

Joe Peppercorn is a singer/songwriter from the Columbus, Ohio band The Whiles. His melancholic pop songs were featured in the Academy Award nominated film Murderball. His debut solo record ‘Darkening Stars’ was released in 2021 followed by Suffer Successfully (2022) and the Philip Glass inspired piano ballad, Daphne (2024). He is also known for his Sgt Peppercorn’s Marathon show in which he and his bandmates perform the entire Beatles catalog in a single 13-14 hour performance.

Lydia Loveless is a singer-songwriter, producer and audio engineer whom over six full length records has defined and defied expectations within the Alt Country and Americana communities. Owing as much to her punk rock upbringing as to her midwest roots, Loveless’ brand of heartland rock has been embraced by critics and listeners alike, with their fanbase growing to include some of Loveless’ heroes like Lucinda Williams and Jason Isbell. The unmistakable voice, an incisive way with melody, and an unrelenting willingness to cast the first stone inward are all hallmarks of Loveless’ songwriting. From the brash to the delicate, Loveless will welcome you in with a commanding presence, big voice and a turn of a phrase that all at once breaks your heart and makes you a fan for life.

Raised on the soulful voices of Nina Simone and Billie Holiday, Lily Bloom immersed herself in the emotional world of the blues at a young age. A harpist, pianist, and singer, Lily Bloom writes all of her own music. She has cultivated her own sound and draws influences from jazz, hip hop, Americana, and good old fashioned rock and roll.
