
Blues & Beyond: Tim Dvorkin Trio

Tim Dvorkin is a modern jazz, funk, fusion keyboard player and composer. Born in Russia, he started playing at restaurants, clubs and other venues at the age of 14. Before moving to the US, Tim played with “JAM,” a blues/rock band that performed around Russia & Europe.
After moving to the US, Tim went to Berklee College of Music, where he received the “Best All Around Keyboardist” award and played 200+ recording & film scoring sessions. Tim also has played 2,500+ shows all over New England, New York, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio & Canada as a session player.
Tim has played/performed, recorded & shared the stage with Lionel Loueke, Tiger Okoshi, Janek Gwizdala, Antonio Sanchez, Warren Wolf, Walter Smith III, Jaleel Shaw, Deantoni Parks, Davy Nathan, Ruslan Sirota, Svoy, Dwight Adams, Esperanza Spaulding, Tony Gray, Jordan Perlson, Louis Cato, Dmitry Ishenko, Kayta Matsuno, Gary Bartz, Greg Bandy, and others.
Some of Tim’s influences are McCoy Tyner, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Brecker Brothers, Frank Gambale, Dave Weckl, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Chase Potter to name a few.
