Brian & Ellisa Coston: Gospel Soul Series – Low Ticket Alert!

The Gospel Soul Series, hosted by Debra James Tucker, continues with  Brian and Ellisa Coston, who have been ministering in music together for over 20 years. The Coston’s have enthusiastically shared their musical mastery with both civil and religious groups throughout the state of Ohio. 

Lisa has shared her gift of singing leading Praise and Worship and participating in several different Women Conferences throughout Central Ohio and leading the Alto section for Gregory J. Watkins and the Worship & Praise Chorale, and the Columbus Baptist Pastors Revival Choir. She has also provided background vocals for local artists; Terry Davis, Joshua Powell, Elder Jamar Jamerson, Evg. Cherry Ridley, Teresca Showell, and national recording artists; Quan Howell, Nia Allen and Zacardi Cortez. Lisa has also expanded her musical gifting by participating in several different stage plays with the Hilliard Arts Council. 

Brian has been blessed to share his musical gift throughout Central Ohio and surrounding areas. Brian has had the pleasure to serve as Music Director for stage plays presented by Franklin County Children Services Adoption Program. Since 2012, Brian has served as a Guest Clinician and at times served as the Director of Music for the Columbus Baptist Pastors Conference.

This monthly series is hosted and coordinated by Debra James Tucker, who has received extensive training in jazz, classical and gospel music. She is the writer/performer of the one woman show Survival of the Boulevard Singer—winner of an Ohio Arts Council Award for Individual Excellence, has been visiting instructor at Denison University in the history of African American Gospel Music, and an artist in residence with several youth arts organizations.
