With over 20 years of playing central Ohio in various Free Beer ‘n’ Chicken Coalition (FBnCC) configurations, with musically expanding styles of originals and original arrangements, from roadhouse blues, country to the eclectic electric, Al Smyth gives up the weekend gig-hustling ghost and brings his unique guitar-oriented music to a Wednesday night show. And where better for a “weekend’s not here yet” show than the best music nightclub he’s ever played, or, in fact, the best music club in Columbus?
With his always carefully configured set list, Al will present a tapestry of guitar stylings, from fingerpicking to whammy bar meltdown. He’ll be aided and abetted by veteran musicians Cary Dachtyl (percussion) and Cliff Starbuck (bass), plus some special accompanying guests, as well!
You’ll laugh, cry, and run the gamut of emotions! The feel-good event of the summer! Better than Cats!!
