Cherry Washington: Gospel Soul Series
Hosted by Debra James Tucker
The Gospel Soul Series, hosted by Debra James Tucker, continues with Cherry Washington, a Dayton, Ohio native, who is a passionate evangelist, psalmist, songwriter, and national recording artist dedicated to spreading the gospel through music and preaching. She is deeply inspired by her faith and her four children: Joshua, Tiffany, Tikhya, and Josiah. In 2020, she released her debut single, “Awesome God,” as an independent artist.
Throughout her career, Cherry has collaborated on notable gospel projects and shared the stage with renowned gospel artists such as Ronnie “Diamond” Hoard, Kirk Franklin, Kim Burrell, Zacardi Cortez, The Clark Sisters, and Fred Hammond. Her ministry has touched lives globally, reaching audiences in Italy, Switzerland, and across the U.S., focusing on bringing healing, freedom, and deliverance through Christ. Guided by Isaiah 61:1, Evangelist Washington is committed to uplifting others with grace and compassion, reflecting her divine purpose. Prepare to be inspired by her ministry, which will consist of traditional hymns, contemporary worship, and inspirational music.
This monthly series is hosted and coordinated by Debra James Tucker, who has received extensive training in jazz, classical and gospel music.
