The Soul Sunday series, hosted by Debra James Tucker, continues with Experience, an unforgettable evening with Chrissy T as she takes you on “The Love Below” – an intimate exploration of love in all its forms – passion, heartbreak, self-discovery and joy – delivered through Chrissy’s rich vocals and captivating stage presence. Chrissy’s genre-defying performance will celebrate the power of love to heal, inspire, and transform.

Chrissy T has a passion for sharing and inspiring others with her artistic gifts and talents. She is a professional vocalist, actress, and educator who has performed nationally and internationally; her soulful voice transcends multiple genres such as classical, jazz, gospel and soul music. With nearly two decades of experience, she has showcased her talents in numerous theatrical productions, earning acclaim and two prestigious drama awards for her performances. Chrissy recently released her debut EP, “Metamorphosis,” featuring her breakout single, “Stuck in Limbo,” which reached #1 on Amazon Music’s UK R&B Hot Releases Chart. With her silky-smooth soprano, that expands a wide vocal range, and her graceful and elegant stage presence she captivates her audiences.

The unique sound of vocalist Debra James Tucker is a product of extensive training in jazz, classical and gospel music. Her new album is “Voices”, which continues her exploration of early black church forms in contemporary contexts. She is the writer/performer of the one woman show Survival of the Boulevard Singer-winner of an Ohio Arts Council Award for Individual Excellence, has been a visiting instructor at Denison University in the history of African American Gospel Music, and an artist in residence with several youth arts organizations.
