E-Flat ft Caroline “Inspires” Bennett: Soul Sunday

Soul Sunday, hosted by Debra James Tucker continues with E-Flat, featuring vocalist Caroline “Inspires” Bennett! E-Flat was formed in 2013 by founder and bandleader David Dennis. E-Flat features some of the best musicians in Central Ohio. The members consist of David Dennis (Saxophone), Aaron Thomas (Bass Guitar), Charles Small (Keyboard) and Robert Riley (Drums).  E-Flat has received several awards for their outstanding musicianship.  The band received the Kingdom Image Award Small Group of the year in 2020, 2023 and the WeddingRule 2022 Editor’s Choice Award.

Caroline Bennett is known for her unapologetic presence and authentic voice, and her inspirational impact has reached over 36,000+ youth across 19 states, leaving a lasting mark on communities worldwide. Formerly Miss Black Ohio, Miss Black Oklahoma U.S. Ambassador, and a Future History Maker, Caroline continues to inspire through her #BEYOURMARK® movement and her unwavering commitment to authentic leadership. Her collaborations with brands like California Friday Night Lights, Student Success Agency, and media giants such as NBC4 showcase her broad reach. The unique sound of vocalist Debra James Tucker is a product of extensive training in jazz, classical and gospel music. Her new album is “Voices”, which continues her exploration of early black church forms in contemporary contexts. She is the writer/performer of the one woman show Survival of the Boulevard Singer—winner of an Ohio Arts Council Award for Individual Excellence, has been a visiting instructor at Denison University in the history of African American Gospel Music, and an artist in residence with several youth arts organizations.
