Blues & Beyond: Joey Viola

Joey Viola, a singer-songwriter and storyteller based in Columbus, Ohio. Five years ago, Joey flipped a coin and left his 9-5 job to pursue his calling in music. His dedication to his craft has led to releasing three full-length LPs, including award-winning tracks like “You In That Sunrise” and “Blue.” Joey’s music, inspired by his life experiences, covers themes such as love, loss, growth, and the socio-political climate. His first single, “Something Left,” is a hopeful ode to human resiliency that has resonated with many. His influences include Lukas Nelson, Chris Stapleton, Allen Stone, and Trevor Hall.
