Live Music Trivia presented by the Unoriginal Bastards

Unoriginal Bastards is a Columbus, Ohio based band that’s been playing unoriginal (cover) classic, alternative and modern rock music since 2006. You may have known them as the Yellow Snowcones, The Artist Formerly Known as the Yellow Snowcones, Sharped Dressed Band, and for one jammin’ night, Electric Yoder. Greg, Chris, Rob and Bryan founded the group out of a shared interest of rockin’ out. Stephen, the newest Bastard, joined the band in 2012. 

In 2017 the Unoriginal Bastards developed a unique listening experience with their live music trivia, blending the fun of music trivia with a live concert experience. Whether it’s Hendrix, Lady Gaga, or classic TV theme songs, no artist or genre is off limits. It’s a great opportunity to test your music knowledge flying solo or with a group of friends!

Proceeds from this event will benefit Soroptimist – an international volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and the world through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Check them out here!

How Live Music Trivia Works:

• Line up a group of friends to form your trivia team (purchasing tickets in advance is strongly encouraged to keep your team together at Natalie’s).

• The Unoriginal Bastards will open the event with a set of great rock music!

• Then the “Game” begins. Kyle, the emcee of the event, will sign in teams for the competition and walk you through how to play (it’s easy!).

• The game format consists of 8 categories. The Unoriginal Bastards will perform 4 live clips related to each of these categories. Your team guesses the song title or artist (sometimes Movie!). The faster you correctly answer the more points you get!

• The Unoriginal Bastards play songs throughout to give you time to regroup and order another round!

• At the end, a winner is crowned!

• The Unoriginal Bastards will then close out the event with a final set.
