Natalie’s presents an outstanding evening of music with vocalist Miriam Elhajli, KASA Quartet, and special guest David Wong, sponsored by the Chamber Music Connection. Elhajli is a Venezuelan-Moroccan-American composer and vocalist who work is influenced strongly by the folkloric musics of South and North America, modern jazz, and contemporary classical music. KASA was founded in the summer of 2016 by Andy Liang, Aaron Schwartz, Stephanie Price-Wong, and Kyle Price. The quartet performs an array of musical styles ranging from classical to gypsy jazz and various genres in between. Wong has been called a “Rock Star” in the violin world. Using both electric and acoustic violins, and sometimes his voice, he arranges rock, pop, and other top 40 hits into improvisation-filled orchestrations.

Founded in 1992 by Deborah Barrett Price, the Chamber Music Connection (CMC) is dedicated to the study and performance of chamber music. CMC provides students an intimate learning experience with nationally and internationally renowned musicians inspiring personal and musical growth. CMC, honored by the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center with their Award for Extraordinary Service to Chamber Music, provides chamber music experience in traditional and multi-genre music for students of all ages. Based in Worthington, OH, CMC continues to connect our communities with the passion and emotion of chamber music with online and in-person education and performance experiences.
