Sean Carney Band w’ Linda Dachtyl: Tribute to Hank Marr

The Sean Carney Band with special guest Linda Dachtyl on the Hammond B3 organ present a very special tribute show to the legendary Columbus musician Hank Marr! Accompanying Sean and Linda will be Brandon Pettiford on drums, Blake Giesting on bass, Chuck Moore on saxophone and James Andre Godin on trumpet.  

The late Hank Marr was one of the world’s masters of the Hammond B-3 organ and a dedicated and gifted educator. A native of Columbus, Hank and tenor saxophonist Rusty Bryant toured together for years and recorded a number of influential albums.

Sean and his bands have won numerous awards throughout the world, and his reputation as a talent, a respecter of tradition and a humble and gracious person has become deservedly widespread. Sean is also the host of “Inside Blues”, a weekly music program airing on public radio station WCBE every Sunday night from 6 till 9 pm.

Linda Dachtyl is a performer/composer in jazz, blues, rock and classical music genres and holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from Capital University and a Master of Arts in Percussion Pedagogy from The Ohio State University.
