Terry Davidson and the Gears

Terry Davidson has been playing in Blues and Rock & Roll bands since 1964.  His compelling performances have won over fans from New England to New Orleans. Songs from his previous seven albums have been featured on television and movie soundtracks, and broadcast all over the world. His latest album “TRANSMISSION” was on the National Roots Music Report chart for 23 weeks. The song “Thirteen Hour train”  received over 7 million Youtube views in a Blues compilation playlist.

Terry Davidson and the Gears  headline at Buddy Guy’s Legends and the House of Blues in Chicago. Terry has been on the bill with the likes of  Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter and many more. Even with rock icons AC/DC on their first American tour.

Magic Dick, harmonica virtuoso of the J. Geils band has  teamed up with Terry and the Gears for several shows.  The world famous vocalist Mitch Ryder calls on TD& the G’s to back him in concert regularly.

Terry’s love for Rock infused Blues is abundantly apparent. This includes everything from raw, blistering Texas Blues to lowdown, traditional Chicago Blues, leaving you with a ferocious Blues blend, steeped in tradition.

Mike Shoaf on bass and “Fast” Eddie Baldwin on drums lay the solid groundwork for the TD&G’s trio.

“Terry is one of the great resources in Columbus.”

“Terry is a legendary figure and a great bluesrocker. The body of work that he’s

put out over the years have all been so solid.   Just a phenomenal cannon of work.

He‘s not getting older, he’s getting better.”

– Jon Peterson – Shakin’ It – WCBE radio, April, 2019
