Central Ohio’s finest (and only) Whirlybirds tribute band/impersonators, The Birlywhirds are led by drummer Troy Kunkler, a longtime associate of the ‘Birds. Pulling (read: stealing) from the same catalog as the Whirlybirds, the Birlywhirds entertain, astonish, flabbergast and distract from the absence of Columbus’ best original swing band.
