Columbus Blues Alliance Hall of Fame Celebration

The Columbus Blues Alliance presents the 2026 Columbus Blues Hall of Fame!

This year’s event is headlined by Piper and the Hard Times. Piper & the Hard Times delivers intense, eclectic and rhythmically dynamic blues-based music flavored with R&B, soul and rock. The band has an instrumental prowess that enables them to improvise with flair, while still creating music that has a melodic appeal that can immediately connect with audiences who want both a high degree of musical competence and songs with strong grooves and catchy hooks.  In January 2024, they took top honors in the band division at the prestigious International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. The core of the band, Al “Piper” Green, Steve Eagon and Dave Colella have been playing and writing together for over 20 years.

Opening the celebration is the 614BluesEd band, an amazing group of young musicians in the 614BluesEd program, sponsored by The Columbus Blues Alliance and directed by Jeff McCargish.

The Columbus Blues Hall of Fame honors those who have helped Keep the Blues Alive through their music, community efforts, and volunteerism. Please join us in welcoming our 2026 Hall of Fame class: Andre Scott, Patrick McLaughlin, and Jeff McCargish. Each of these inductees has contributed significant time, musicianship, and energy to the Blues genre, and they join an illustrious group of past honorees.
