The Halamays

The Halamays are a married dream pop duo, based out of Columbus, Ohio. Katie and Patrick have been playing music for what seems like forever…it is, in fact, what brought them together. For almost 2 decades they’ve played in living rooms, basements, bars and venues across the midwest, charming listeners with their catchy melodies and witty banter. Embracing the DIY aesthetic, the pair record pop songs in their home studio and are honestly just happy to be here. Big Takeover Magazine once said:  “Like the Fritas’ Shivika Asthana — or maybe more obviously, Juliana Hatfield or Jenny Lewis — Katie has a charmingly girlish but confident vocal delivery and spunky energy that twirls off the record,” so that’s cool.
