The Sextillions feature the arrangements and playing of three of Columbus’ most talented next generation horn players: Logan Moore on alto sax, Jake Smith on tenor sax and Ivan Murray on trumpet. With arrangements of standards as well as tunes by Bill Frisell, John Scofield and other modern luminaries in the jazz world Logan, Jake and Ivan are supported on their improvisational odysseys by Greg Wolfram on bass, Nathan Snyder on piano and Maxwell Button on the drums. The Sextillions performance of these intricate and often funky arrangements is bursting with joy, excitement and positive energy.
