John Hartford Tribute: Adam Schlenker & Students, Paul Brown

Natalie’s presents a special tribute to the music and life of John Hartford, featuring Adam Schlenker and some of his talented students from Denison University, and multi-instrumentalist Paul Brown. Hartford was one of the most influential and widely loved musicians of the 20th century, and this annual celebration helps to keep his legacy alive.

Adam Schlenker (guitar) is an educator, performer, composer and arranger of Acoustic American Roots Music, and has been featured in and contributed to Flat Picking Guitar Magazine and is the Coordinator of American Roots Music Studies at Denison University. Paul Brown (banjo/fiddle) has been performing for over four decades, most recently with his band “Hillbilly Chic”. Paul will be accompanied by Linda Scutt, an accomplished musician who has performed with the old-time band the Corndrinkers, Katie Laur, and others.
