Blues for a Cure 2023 – Columbus

Sean Carney’s Blues For A Cure returns to Columbus with a dynamite double bill charity event introducing Grammy winner Yates McKendree and his band to Central Ohio. Performing from his #1 charting LP, Buchanan Lane, which also debuted in the Top 10 of the Roots Music Report’s US Chart at #5, the amazingly talented second generation multi-instrumentalist hails from Nashville (his dad is the world renowned keys player Kevin). Yates has recorded with and/or toured with Delbert McClinton, John Hiatt (he told Rolling Stone Yates is his ‘secret weapon’), BlackBerry Smoke, and he headlined the last the Sandy Beach Cruise, among others. As the 2023 Blues Music Association’s nominee for ‘Best Emerging Artists Album’, Yates specifically selected our area for his inaugural touring for our deep blues fan base.
