Vocalist Maggie Green has been bringing the sounds and melodies of Brazil to Columbus, Ohio for the past 15 years. With extensive experience performing and recording with Brazilian musicians in Rio de Janeiro, Maggie will be choosing her favorite selections from the bossa nova and MPB (Música Popular Brasileiro) repertoire. Accompanying her will be a trio of musicians also with deep connections to Brazil; Brett Allen on guitar, Dean Hulett on bass and Antoine Fatout on drums. Each one having their own unique experiences musically and personally with this immensely rich culture. Come join us as we perform selections from composers such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Wilson Batista, Ivan Lins, João Bosco and more! Até já!
