Soul Sunday: Pure Imagination w/ Tylur Starks

Natalie’s is excited to announce the return of the popular Soul Sunday series, hosted by Paisha Thomas, and this first show features the talented vocalist, Tylur Starks. Tylur’s influences include Etta James, Aretha Franklin, and Whitney Houston, but her favorite artist is Selena Quintanilla-Perez. Tylur’s vocal coaches have been Talisha Holmes and Mary McClendon, and they both have helped her become the artist she is today.

Paisha Thomas released her first album in 2016, which drew immediate praise from critics and fans alike, and she frequently collaborates with Counterfeit Madison, Scott Woods (Holler & Streetlight Guild), and many others on a variety of engaging projects, including “Say it Loud Columbus”, featuring compelling original protest music. Paisha also recently released her first book, Looking For Innocence, a thought provoking memoir spanning every decade of her life.

Soul Sunday at Natalie’s is held on the first Sunday of each month. Join us earlier in the day for Brunch from 11 am until 1 pm with no admission fee. Seating for The Gospel Soul Brunch show on Charlie’s Stage, hosted by Debra James Tucker begins at 1:30, with showtime at 2:30 pm, presenting the best national and regional Gospel Artists in concert. There will be a Soul Food special throughout the day while supplies last.
